'Bija in Sanskrit translates to “seed”.
Bija is a metaphor for the starting point
or origin of all creation. It is the seed
from which everything originated.'
Tara Goswami and Guy Bärtschi invite you to the second edition of the Bija
Consciousness Retreats - a weekend immersion of yoga, living food philosophies
and consciousness practices at the gorgeous Masia Jover in Banyeres del Penedes,
an hour outside of Barcelona.
Tara Goswami is an artist, a yoga practitioner and intuitive cook. Through her cooking,
artistic creation and yogic practices she finds a spiritual connection that leads to aware
living. Her work is a constant reflexion on the subtler aspects of the self in relation to
the universe. Over the four days, Tara will weave together and offer these three practices that form the basis of her life into a complete, substantial and unique experience.
The host, Guy Bärtschi - gallerist from Geneva turned yogi is the restorer of the 500
year old Masia Jover and has brought it to its present state. Guy is a serious meditator
and yoga practitioner and the morning meditations will be guided by him.
The weekend will consist of deep, grounding hatha yoga sessions twice daily,
meditation sessions, consciousness exercises, two creative yogic meals daily that
are prepared with care using fruits and vegetables picked directly from the garden.
