Birdwatchers of all skill levels are encouraged to join us as we spot the interesting birds over the course of this 2-hour walking trip where we will explore the wooded trails of Bass Lake Park & Suggs Farm.
Springtime & summer migratory bird sightings are common in late March through May including various Warblers, Flycatchers, Great Egrets, Phoebes, American Red Starts, Towhees, Great Egrets, Green Herons, Cardinals, Barn Swallows, Coots, Summer Tanagers, Indigo Buntings, Wrens, Sparrows, Bald Eagles and Nuthatches.
We will meet on the porch of the visitors center of Bass Lake Park at 8:00 AM sharp and spend 2 hours walking along the trail surrounding the lake. For your safety & peace of mind, social distancing will be practiced throughout the duration of this tour.
