Birdwatchers of all skill levels are encouraged to join us as we spot the interesting birds over the course of this 2-hour walking trip where we will explore the wooded trails and shore lines of Yates Mill Pond and Mid Pines road.
We will be on the lookout for various species of Warblers, Hawks, Flycatchers, Phoebes, Towhees, Great Blue Herons, Green Herons, Purple Martins, Eastern Meadowlarks, Summer Tanagers, Indigo Buntings and Nuthatches.
We will meet in the parking lot of Yates Mill Park at 8:00 AM sharp and spend 1 hour exploring this area before taking a 5 min car ride to the Mid Pines Rd dog-leg.
For your safety and peace of mind, social distancing will be practiced throughout the duration of this trip.
