About this trip

The Argentina North West (close to the Bolivian and Chilean borders) represents a small part of the country's area but shelters a huge portion of its biological diversity. From the warm subtropical lowlands on the east to the cold and arid highlands on the west, the region counts with a wide array of climates and landscapes, thus it has an amazing bird diversity of over 600 species. This tour foresees to visit all the life zones present in the Argentina´s North West (Dry Chaco woodlands; Yungas cloudforests; Monte shrublands; Puna steppes, and High Andes deserts), in an efficient 10-day itinerary that has been designed to maximize the birding opportunities while taking advantage of the client´s available time.
