With Black Boat Week taking the world by storm the last few years, it's only right we continue to expand and shine light on it. Places like Croatia, Thailand, and Chicago have embraced and this glorious event. Now it's time we add beautiful Zanzibar (Tanzania) to the list. While in Zanzabar you'll be experiencing a vibe like no other! Partying on a 60 foot catamaran while brunch‘n and turnin’ up in the middle of the Indian Ocean. There will also be plenty of networking opportunities as well as a bonfire party, and immersing ourselves in Tanzania's mainland. of course you have the option to stay longer in feed your inner-wanderlust, we actually encourage it. How often can you say you get to visit and explore East Africa?
What’s included
- Airport Pickup/Drop-OffTransportation from Julius Nyerere International Airport will be provided, so no need to order Ubers, Lyfts, or a taxi.
- Hotel AccommodationWe’ll be staying at the Blackwood Boutique Hotel in Dar Es Salaam and the Kiwengwa Beach Resort in Zanzibar.
- Island FerryThe Kilimanjaro V Ferry to and from Zanzibar is on us!
- Elements Night ClubOur first night in Tanzania we’ll be living it up at Elements Night Club in the capital city. Getting a first hand experience with Tanzanian culture.
- 60 Ft CatamaranYou read that correctly.. we’ll be enjoying Black Boat Week on a 60 Ft. catamaran. Food, beverages, liquor, snacks, and a view of the clearest water you’ll ever see!
- Bonfire VibesAfter sunset when we dock and go back to our hotel, you have the option to come back to the beach or a bonfire and more food/drinks..
- Arrival VisaUpon arrival into Tanzania, WE OWT TRAVEL, LLC will cover the cost of your Tanzanian Visa.

- Airfare/FlightsWe can help you find your flight to and from but since we’ll have different people flying in from different places it’s best tickets are booked/found separately
- Bad VibesWe’re in Zanzibar for a good time not a long time. Keep the negativity at home please.

Itinerary
You will be flying into Julius Nyerere International Airport (airport code = DAR). Due to flight schedules you’ll most likely need to leave your city a day or two prior(July 30th/31st) to land in Dar es Salaam on August 1st. Expect about 18-26 hours of travel time due to flight times & layovers. Upon arrival you will meet up with the rest of the group at baggage claim after clearing customs. Once we’re all accounted for we will be transported from the airport to the hotel to check into our rooms(25-35 minute drive).
