The Jamaica Reggae Ride is an all  inclusive  cycling vacation based in Montego Bay, Jamaica. 

We have 3 days of organized  rides from your resort, with various distances and paces to suit all  levels of cyclistss.

This is a concierge service tour with pros as tour leaders. We ride in usually 2-3 different pace level groups, and your choice from two distances each ride day. All Black Girls do Bike Participants get an  additional training session FREE of charge!

It is very important to note that our ride is  not like your typical charity ride in the USA. You are not given a route guide and make your way to the rest stop. We ride together!  NO ONE IS EVER ALONE ON THE ROAD BY THEMSELVES EVER!

Our stops are well planned so as to ensure everyone experiences the real Jamaica: we will have a rest stop at a farmer's market, have a visit with local school children and visit  with a rastafarian family! The Jamaican people are warm and genuinely friendly.  You'll get to meet them up close and in their real world!

There is time in the afternoons to meet up with fellow cyclists, spouses and friends to explore the island's many  attractions, relax at the spa and to enjoy the facilities  of  your all inclusive resort.

ARRIVAL MONTEGO BAY  (the earlier you can arrive, the better)
Airport transfers from Montego Bay airport to  one of our host hotels in Montego Bay - Driving time 10-15 minutes

• 4:00-5:00pm  - Welcome briefing. This is your chance to meet the  Ride Master, Tour leaders, other staff and the other riders. We have a  brief talk on the ride, what to expect, and answer any questions.
• Dinner at leisure in your hotel

DAY 2 

1st ride - Welcome route:  Ironshore- Rose Hall-Falmouth- Ironshore 

 40 MILES/940FT

Travel through the residential areas of Montego Bay and the old  historic town of Falmouth.  There are scenic views of the Caribbean with smooth gently undulating, roads.  We make a stop at a Rastafarian home to get an in depth view of the culture and lifestyle of this unique religion.

• 07:00-07:30 - Breakfast
• 07:30-08:00 - Group Photos and then Ride out
• 11:30am - Return to hotel
• Lunch, dinner and evening at leisure to enjoy the hotel
• 6:00pm  Optional tour: Luminous Lagoon
• Overnight Host Hotels: Holiday Inn/ Riu Montego  Bay

DAY 3

Day 2 ride:  Montego Bay - Sandy Bay - Montego  Bay 55 miles/1567 ft

A scenic ride with a few rollers, along the northcoast of the island. We stop to enjoy coconuts with Sugar, the vendor who has been serving our Bicycle Tour since 2009 at a new location. Drink fresh coconut water straight from  the nut- it's the  best natural  hydration and it's so delicious. Not like from the box!

• 07:00-07:30 - Photos and then Ride out
• 11:30am - Return to hotel
• Lunch at leisure in the resort
• 13:00- 17:30  Optional Sightseeing tour Tour: Dunns River Waterfalls
• Dinner and evening at leisure to enjoy the hotel
• Overnight Host Hotels: Holiday Inn/ Riu Montego  Bay

DAY 4

Ride 3 -Montego Bay  - Rio Bueno -Montego  Bay

Metric Century-62 miles/2332 ft 

Today sees us heading along the northcoast of the island, along perfectly paved roads, with a few  climbs along the way for fun!  Today is a serious challenge with some hills to climb including the KOM/QOM Strava challenge of Spring  Hill. We always regroup at the top - so pace yourself and do it in your own time!

We turn around at the  Joe James gallery on the seaside road at RIo Bueno. There is beautiful art in the gallery all painted by the late Mr James.  We enjoy coffee and snacks at this seaside restaurant and are entertained by schoolchildren.

• 07:00-07:30 - Photos and then Ride out
• 1:30pm       - Return to  resort for lunch
• 7:30pm         Farewell dinner with award ceremony
