We are a community-first event organization that hosts and plan elevated getaways and gatherings for women to escape their worries, connect, and explore a world beyond their front door. We produce occasions in stunning locations that bring together powerful women from all walks of life to forge stronger kinship, explore our collective power, and take time out of our busy schedules to recharge.

I had an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the activities without any stress. The food was a highlight, especially the dinner out and the final clam bake and lobster boil! The activities were diverse and thoughtful, catering to various interests. Whether it was yoga, catching the sunrise, arts and crafts, or the African American Heritage Tour, there was something for everyone. It was amazing to connect with other Black women, sharing stories, laughter, and support throughout our journey. What made this trip truly special was the sense of fellowship that flourished among us. It created a nurturing environment where we could uplift one another, leading to lasting friendships and memorable moments.

Fantastic, Educational, Well Thought Out, Stunning Housing Accommodations, Peaceful, Well Organized, Engaging, Owner engaged with all participants, Activities were appropriate with the theme of retreat, There was an overflow of food that prepared fresh daily up to include vegan choices.
Everyday was amazing from the day I signed up with this group up until this now I have not been disappointed. I will definitely return and heavily recommend Blk getaway. Delisha is one of a kind. I'm grateful to have met her and experienced all she has to offer others.

To start, Martha’s Vineyard is a beautiful island, and I will definitely be back again! The food, the location, the accommodations, and the group of women from all walks of life were all wonderful.
My reason for giving 3 out of 5 stars is that this experience felt less like a “refresh retreat” and more like a “girls’ trip.” It was simultaneously overplanned yet poorly structured.
If you’re someone who values peaceful moments, organic social interactions, earlier group activities that allow for a decent night’s sleep (rather than listening to people below you laughing and talking late into the night), sleeping in, and a clear itinerary with travel or pickup times included, this getaway may not be for you.
Although I didn’t fully enjoy my time, I want to be clear that the experience wasn’t terrible — it just wasn’t my cup of tea. I had anticipated relaxation and a reset that would contrast with my day-to-day routine. Instead, it felt more like a fun vacation-style getaway than the wellness retreat I truly needed.

While we included optional activities and built-in daily free time for leisure and reflection, we know that everyone’s idea of a “refresh” can look different. We also encourage open communication during the retreat so we can adjust in real time if something isn’t working, and we’ll take your feedback to heart as we plan future experiences with more diverse accommodations and options that align with different personalities and needs.

I had an amazing time on this retreat. Every aspect was carefully planned and curated to foster a feeling of sisterhood, community and safe space for vulnerability and compassion. It felt really good to have time to relax and pour into ourselves and one another and I can’t wait to try to do this again soon! I had an incredible time on this trip! The bus was clean and comfortable. We had snack and goodie bags waiting on our seats. The playlist during our ride was top tier! Each venue offered time to stop, sip, savor and learn as well as take gorgeous photos for memories or social media content. Highly recommend this group; adequate value for the price.
