We will be posted up on the beautiful property of Southwind Retreat. When Dr. Brent Anderson, founder of Polestar Pilates, first visited the school and its connecting property, he was immediately overwhelmed with its beauty and healing energy, leading him and his wife Lizette to relocate from Miami to North Carolina and transform the school into Southwind Retreat Center.
Southwind Retreat Center is a multipurpose venue that serves both the North Carolina community as well as health and wellness professionals globally. It’s a safe haven for any individual or group seeking space for healing, growth, or life celebrations
A non-refundable $200 deposit reserves your space on the retreat. The remaining payment is due April 15th. You can pay in full at any time. If preferred, a custom payment plan is available.

Plan to arrive Friday around 6pm and leave Sunday around lunch time. All activities are optional.. You will have plenty of free time to relax or pick and choose your own activities. All classes are suitable for all levels. Beginners welcome.

Raleigh native, Diala Hamed RDN E-RYT 500, began her studies of yoga under Adi Shakti in Vinyasa and traditional Hatha yoga in Costa Rica. After years of travel and teaching yoga, she ventured off to India to earn her 500 hr certification through Akhanda Yoga School in Rishikesh. She has since taught and participated in yoga across the globe in over 10 countries, across Europe, Asia, and Australia. As a Vipassana meditator she values the quiet space that yoga creates and enjoys sharing her learnings on and off the mat in Yoga Teacher Training and retreats around the world. Yoga has taught Diala to ride the waves of life instead of trying to fight them. She believes wherever you are in your practice is always enough, but when you’re ready she’ll give you the extra push you need to pass your expectations.
