Boat was a VERY rough ride, to the point where my partner and I had bruises all over the next day. As soon as we get on the boat and tell the crew we’re excited to see whales they tell us “it’s very unlikely we will”. Why did you call it a whale expedition if it’s highly unlikely to see the very thing in the title? The crew was very disengaged and more interested in talking to each other about how much previous guests tipped. I appreciate the company wanting to pick up trash from the ocean, but I was extremely sick from motion sickness (likely from how rough the boat ride was), and they continued to stop and pick up trash as I lay on the floor of the boat. I would highly recommend avoiding this company.

Dear Robert,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear the experience didn’t meet expectations and regret any discomfort you and your partner felt during the trip.
While we welcome honest feedback, we feel it’s important to clarify several points in your review, which includes multiple inaccuracies and misrepresentations of the experience.
Ocean conditions can vary, and while we always prioritize safety and comfort, rougher waters are sometimes part of open-sea travel. Our crew is trained to support guests experiencing motion sickness, and we’re truly sorry you felt unwell that day.
Regarding whale sightings, we are clear that while they’re frequent during the season, they can never be guaranteed. Our tour name reflects the purpose of the trip, not a guaranteed outcome—this is communicated in all guest briefings and booking materials.
As for crew conduct, we take great pride in maintaining a professional and engaged team. Your description does not reflect the experience of our other guests over four years of operation, during which we’ve consistently received 5-star ratings from over 70 verified reviews. While no trip is ever perfect, your review—submitted alongside a refund request and echoed across other platforms—feels more like an attempt to pressure than to inform constructively.
We’re always open to dialogue and committed to improving when needed. But we also value fairness, and we respectfully disagree with how this trip was portrayed.
Thank you again for your feedback. We truly wish you better experiences ahead and many memorable wildlife encounters in the future.

I had a great time. The team is highly professional, prioritizing both safety and education, while also creating an unforgettable experience. I will do it again when I return to San Diego.
Super professionel and relaxed people. Safety first and all the patience and skill needed to attract first 3 blue sharks and then a HUGE blue shark. Can totally recommend these guys!!! And ohh… whales, dolphins and a Mola Mola. Best day at sea
