This is the event that really kicks off Reggae Month in Jamaica. If you love Reggae music, this is the event you want to be at. It's Bob Marley's Birthday or Earth Strong celebration.
Held at his Kingston residence, now The Bob Marley Museum, we'll go out for a night of new and old reggae tributes to the undisputed King of reggae music. A true Rastafarian, Jamaican and Ganja Ambassador, on this night we convene to celebrate his life and legacy, that we continue to enjoy year round.
We'll overnight in Kingston and head to the Legend's childhood residence and final resting place in NIne Mile, just to absorb a little more Marley energy.
To top it off, we'll visit a Rasta Village in St. Mary and indulge in the closest recreation of an integral part of Bob Marley's lifestyle and philosophy.
When the night falls, we return you to your point of pick-up.
In a sense we're doing this backwards, because the climax of the trip will be on the first night.
Once we bring you into Kingston, you'll relax and get settled for the night ahead. In the meantime you can explore a little bit of Kingston and maybe take in a dance class or visit a Kingston attraction.
We'll head over to the Culture Yard in Trenchtown a Mecca for Reggae music, grab a bite and head over to the Bob Marley Museum for a night of musical entertainment from the best new and established artists on the reggae scene.
Then you head to bed to rest up for the next day's adventures.
