Come join us on a 4 day/3 night summer pool getaway in a farmhouse amongst the rolling hills of Gordon, near Ballarat, filled with stunning beginner hikes, picnics, hike mobility movement and fun dancing with our body-positive dance teacher Lisa-Marie, sunflower picking and lazing by the pool!!
Wake to the sound of kookaburras and the sight of kangaroos in the near distance. Take a stroll through the herb garden or meet/feed the resident farm animals (miniature ponies, alpacas, goats and sheep) . You might event get a visit from other native wildlife such as echidnas and koalas, and a large variety of birds including rosellas, eagles and waterbirds on the dam. Then wrap up your afternoon with a float in the pool.....which floatie will you bring?!
And in amongst all our planned activities, there will be plenty of time for choosing your own adventures, whether that looks like brunches in cafes, visits to wineries or even local markets.
And this is all alongside others who are there for the slow paced, judgement free, body positive adventures!
WHAT IS ESCAPING YOUR COMFORT ZONE BODY POSITIVE ADVENTURES?
This is a body positive, slow paced trip, hosted by Richelle at Escaping Your Comfort Zone.
Escaping Your Comfort Zone is Body Positive Adventures for women and non-binary crew. The outdoors don't care about your size, your speed or your fitness, and neither do we! 100% body positive, no focus on weightloss. Just having fun in the outdoors, cause we can! As always, we walk at the pace of the slowest person, and no one is left behind.
Our special guest host is Lisa-Marie, the owner of Geelong's best body positive personal training, Train Fitness Professionals aka the EveryBODY Fitness Club. Lisa-Marie will be leading us through some great body positive dance moves, all done at your own pace, and to your ability. No co-ordination required! In addition she will also be there to help us keep our feet, ankles and legs strong for walking. How do we know she's the best? Richelle trains with L-M twice a week, and its all about listening to your body, moving it in a nurturing way, and improving mobility (no burpees here!). See more about L-M here: https://www.facebook.com/trainfp
