Airport transfer – Flight to Uyuni – Colchani – Uyuni Salt Flats – Incahuasi Island – Sunset – Salt Hotel
In the morning, at 4:30 a.m., transfer to the airport for your scheduled flight to Uyuni.
Arrive in Uyuni, where you will be greeted by our representative. We continue our visit to the great Tunupa salt flat. Our next stop is the town of Colchani, where locals sell salt crafts and give demonstrations about salt processing. We then enter the salt flat itself, the largest white lake in the world at approximately 10,500 square kilometers. Our visit continues to the salt lakes, salt pyramids, and former salt hotel.
We then arrive at Incahuasi Island, a true cactus valley in the middle of the salt desert. There, you can hike this unique island for a fee and registration. We will spend the rest of the afternoon at the salt flat to take photos. At the end of the afternoon, we will stop at a beautiful spot to contemplate the stunning sunset over the Salar de Uyuni.
Finally, we will take you to your salt lodge.
Important: The visit to Incahuasi Island is subject to rainfall.
Meals included: lunch and dinner.
Note: This program will depend on the amount of rain falling on the Salar. If for any reason the amount is too high, we will need to change the program.
