Our guide, Johnathan, was very pleasant and helpful! We're grateful he handled all the transfers and was always available to answer our questions. Our sunset river cruise on day one was relaxing and the food was delicious. On day two, the game drive came with excellent coffee/tea service and we were able to see a very unique cat: the serval. And by day three we had already made it across the border to a very nice lodge in Botswana. We enjoyed 2 game drives and game cruise over days three and four. On day five, we requested our guide take us to the souvenir market and he encouraged us to bargain. In summary, our five days in Victoria Falls and Chobe National Park were breathtaking and unforgettable!

It’s hard to put into words just how transformative my journey with African Fairytale Safaris was—but I’ll try.

From the first interaction with Jonathan, the owner, it was clear this wasn’t just another tour company. Jonathan’s passion his commitment, and his incredible attention to detail made me feel like I was about to embark on something extraordinary—and I was right.

Right from the start every moment was curated to what I wanted and every day packed with activities and yet I never felt rushed. 
Our guides were helpful, responsive, and filled with information. They didn’t just toss out the names of animals but offered insight into their behaviors and relationships to their environment. 
Our most favorite guide, Aaron, was a revelation. His depth of knowledge, storytelling, and quiet reverence for the land and its creatures turned every game drive into something magical. Him taking time to teach us about tracking and sitting outside a hyena den at sunset so I could see them are just two examples of the way he went above and beyond 

We witnessed scenes I will never forget-but more than the sightings, it was the feeling—of awe, humility, and connection—that stayed with me.

The lodgings arranged by African Fairytale Safaris were varied and all wonderful in their own way. from the stunning game lodge with the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept it away from home to the cozy little hotel with the immaculate service to the lovely family hotel with the best lamb chops I’ve ever had it was perfectly balanced. 

If you’re looking for more than just a safari—if you’re looking for an experience that touches your heart and shifts your perspective—African Fairytale Safaris is it. Thank you, Jonathan for creating a journey I’ll cherish forever. I cannot wait to come back.
