Join Breezeway Bubbles SCUBA at the Divi Flamingo Resort in Bonaire Sep 20- 27 2025.   This is the perfect place to dive since the waters are known to be warm with gentle current and little wave action.    Widely known as the best place for photographers to hone their skills and enjoy some of the healthiest coral and fish life in the Caribbean. 

This trip includes breakfast daily and 2 themed dinners.   There are grocery stores and restaurants within a short walk of the resort, so you will not need to rent a car to visit the shops and attractions downtown. 

In addition to boat dives in the morning each day ( 11 boat dives total for the week ) , you'll have access to unlimited tanks and weights to dive from shore as often as you wish.    You can dive right from the resort's pier or take a short drive to visit the island's many famous shore dive sites. 

If you have family members that don't dive, they can join the trip as snorkelers.   Bonaire is an excellent place to skin dive and snorkel as the waters are shallow and teeming with fish life. 

We'll have lots of Breezeway Bubbles staff members on this trip who can offer Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, or dozens of specialties that are easy to complete right from shore in front of the resort in the afternoon each day.

We fly from Chicago O'hare ( ORD ) on Delta airlilnes at 6am on Saturday Sep 20th 2025 with a short layover in Atlanta.     From Atlanta, we arrive in Bonaire at 1:47pm where we have transfers to the Divi Flamingo Resort about 4 miles away.    

This first day, you can relax and swim or snorkel right off the dock! 

Our first group dinner will be this evening.   

On Sunday, Sep 21st, we will enjoy a buffet breakfast and then meet at the dive shop located for mandatory Bonaire marine park and dive shop orientation.   

You will meet the Divi Divers dive crew and learn the procedures and rules of this protected marine park.    After the orientation, we will all participate in a shore dive right in front of the dive shop to check out our equipment and fine tune our weighting. 

We will then do our first of 11 boat dives this week.     We will have fun searching for sea creatures like the friendly Caribbean Reef Squid

From Monday through Friday, we will enjoy a buffet breakfast and 2 boat dives each morning.   We will visit iconic sites like Karpata and Bachelor's Beach, as well as visit Klein Bonaire - the small island one mile offshore where the best of Bonaire wildlife reside.  

You'll plenty of time in the afternoon to explore the adjacent small town of Kralendijk just a short walk away for shopping, dining, and interesting site seeing.    

Those that chose the optional 4 daily afternoon boat dives will dive take off around 2pm each day. 

Our 2nd group dinner will be at the resort on Thursday evening.   

The available shore diving right in front of the dive shop will keep you busy for those that want to dive as much as possible.    This is also the perfect place for night dives that our group will offer many nights of the week. 

Diving will be done by Noon on Friday so we have plenty of decompression time before we fly out the next day. 

After eating our last buffet breakfast, we will check out of the resort and take the available transfers to the airport nearby.  

Our Delta flight is scheduled to depart Bonaire at 3;12pm on Saturday Sep 27th 2025 and connect via Atlanta where we will go through customs.    We then fly from Atlanta to Chicago arriving at 11:55pm
