The new jewel of the cycling ports in Colombia, El Alto del Sifón has no competitor in the world, an ascent that begins at 360 meters above sea level and reaches 4,190 meters above sea level, rolling for more than 20km over 4,000 meters between immense cayons and frailejones. 

We will receive you at the airport of the city you chose to start this adventure and we will transport you to the Libano, a town hidden in the immensity of the central mountain range of the Colombian Andes. You will enjoy the landscape during the journey and we will be able to stop at some points for you to appreciate it.  We will arrive there to rest from the trip and get everything ready for your ascent to Alto del Sifón y Alto de Letras. Everything ready for your ascent to Alto de Letras. If time permits, we will be able to populate at the end of the afternoon and at night we will surely have a welcome dinner with an important briefing for tomorrow's stage.

Today will be an unforgettable day, because we will climb the famous Alto de Letras but via the Alto del Sifón route, which in our opinion is the best cycling route in Colombia. It will be a stage with a multitude of landscapes, from 1,000 meters above sea level to riding for approximately 20km at more than 4,000 meters above sea level and then continuing the road until reaching the famous Alto de Letras. After arriving we will transport you to the Termales del Ruiz Hotel so you can rest in its Volcano hot spring pools.

Today our short adventure through the snowy park ends. In the morning, if time permits, we will visit the Nevado del Ruiz volcano or if not, we will stay enjoying the thermal water pools and then we will leave for the city of origin of your choice. Of course, we can also drop you off in another city if you wish!
