This was my 3rd time venturing to Duluth with DM as my guide. Except this time, I was able help lead runners and families. Many memories were made, and goals were smashed. DM really does do everything but RUN for you.

I felt that the trip fell flat in terms of customer service. The staff was not helpful in terms of being able to answer questions and I was reprimanded for not using WhatsApp for communication. The events like the pasta dinner were not well planned as they did not accomodate those runners who ran the 5K on Friday and arrived well after dinner and the talk by Dakotah started. The Saturday morning schedule was apparently discussed at the start of the dinner and those of us who cam late were told to look at the papers on the wall for information. Saturday morning staff seemingly reluctantly walked us to the shuttles. No coffee Saturday AM. I expected better service for the money I paid. Would not travel with Destination Marathons ever again.

Hi Carol, Thank you for the feedback. During check in, we encourage guests to use WhatsApp for announcements, however we know not everyone likes text for communication. That's why we also show you the QR code on your badge for quick access to our weekend itinerary which has all of the information you'll need for the event. We also have links in the itinerary for quick access to our transportation guide, city guide, the race website, and race resources such as information on the expo and 5k event. Our staff and ambassador badges are also clearly identified should any guest have questions throughout the weekend. Friday night we designated a local ambassador to walk 5k guests over to the start and give you a brief overview of what you would miss during the first hour of dinner while you ran. We also include this information in large poster size papers on the walls for any hard of hearing or visual guests who want to take a picture, read the information again, or discuss with a friend. We also had a table reserved for 5k runners and worked with the hotel staff to ensure plates would be available for our buffet when you arrived late. Knowing runners want to get to bed, we don't like our dinners running later than scheduled so we know you may miss some information by running the 5k. We do our best to fill you in with any information you may not have read through the race resources directly. Saturday morning we had two 1.5 gallon containers of coffee in the Grand Lakes Ballroom for guests, as well as two 1.5 gallon containers of room temperature water (since it would be colder outside). The hotel invoice and photos show most guests were able to enjoy the morning beverages. I'm sorry if you were unable to find the drinks. Our ambassadors have been individually selected to be leads for groups to the shuttles Saturday morning based on their experience with guests and groups in the past. We appreciate you telling us of your experience and wish you the best in your future travels.

We had the best experience! The meet ups with elite runners Dakota Lindwurm and Dick Beardsley were extra special. Jamie Frazier, Dan Semsel, and Mike Benz were awesome. My wife and I really appreciate all the effort that went into making everything easy for us. All that I had to do was run!

Destination Marathons: A First-Class Marathon Experience in London If you're looking for a way to combine your love of running with an unforgettable travel experience, then look no further than Destination Marathons! I recently used their services for the London Marathon, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the very beginning, Destination Marathons took care of everything. Their friendly leadership team ensured a smooth and stress-free experience, always going the extra mile to make sure my stay was first-class. They handled all the logistics, from securing a coveted spectator spot to cheer on my Wife who ran in the London Marathon to booking my luxurious accommodation at the Sheraton Park Lane, right by Buckingham Palace! The Sheraton itself was fantastic. The location couldn't have been better, putting us within walking distance of many iconic landmarks. But what truly elevated the trip was Destination Marathons' meticulously planned tours. Hopping on the traditional red double-decker buses, we explored the best that London has to offer. From the historic London Tower and the captivating Tate Museum to the iconic London Bridge and the ever-present Big Ben, we saw it all. There's no way I could have packed so much sightseeing into my trip without their expert organization. Thanks to Destination Marathons, We were able to focus on what mattered most – conquering the London Marathon! Their support and organization ensured a truly first-class experience, both on and off the racecourse. If you're looking for a well-organized and luxurious way to experience a marathon in a new city, I highly recommend Destination Marathons!
