Activities

Activities include mokoro excursions and guided game walks on Chief’s Island, which is part of the Moremi Game Reserve and just across the Boro River that separates it from Ntswi Island.

Two guests are allocated one guide who then transports them in his mokoro to different areas within of the game reserve where they commence their walk. 

Guides converse in English and point out not only big game, but also bird life and plant life. 

Guests can learn anything from plants and their medicinal uses, to birds and their calls. It is an amazing way to experience the Delta and many guests leave appreciating the smaller life as opposed to just the normal big five!

CHOBE BUSH LODGE

The Newly Chobe Bush Lodge that opened in October 2014 is situated in Kasane directly on the border with Chobe National Park and within 150 m from Chobe River front.

The Chobe National Park Covers an area of aver 11 000 squire kilometers, it takes its name from the Chobe River, the park is located in a unique angle bordering the 4 countries i.e. Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia, and Angola, the park is known for a wide variety of diverse habitats which are home to the greatest concentration of game in the entire southern African subcontinent and has the largest number of Elephants in the world.

The lodge is more intimate with at least 38 spacious luxury en-suite rooms each one with open plan bathroom featuring both bath and a shower, air-conditioning, TV and safe. The rooms are completed in modern-bush style design. Bottom rooms will have verandas while the top rooms will have balconies with exquisite views over Chobe National park.The rooms and facilities of Chobe Bush Lodge have mixed views over Chobe National Park and Chobe floodplains in the far distance.

7.20 am; you will be picked up for onward transfer to Victoria Falls, the drive will take about 20 minutes to the border (please complete immigration and Visa formalities)

On time you depart with our driver guide to Victoria Falls town about 50 minutes’ drive.

Followed by a tour of the fall/ the Bridge/ Big Tree and open market

(Note; own walk- in the Rain forest shall take about 2 hours)

The Elephant Hills, situated 4kms out of the town on a small hill, provides panoramic views of the Zambezi River and spray from the Victoria Falls. 

This luxury hotel is decorated with an ethnic essence of Zimbabwe and even boasts an impressive miniature replica of The Victoria Falls in the middle.

The rooms are spacious, each with its own balcony and views over the gardens or surrounding area. Many of the rooms have connecting doors which is ideal for families.The Elephant Hills hotel certainly does not lack entertainment with a casino, two swimming pools, tennis courts, squash courts and much more. 

The building with its thatched roof is an unmistakable landmark in the area. Even though it does blend into the surroundings.

The golf course is the only golf course in the area. This 18-hole course designed by Gary Player is a must play! Although the course might not be in as good a condition as it used to be – one can very often find impala and warthog grazing alongside of the greens – a unique and magical sight

830am you will be picked up from JHB en route to Hezyview /Hoedspruit Panorama route / with  light lunch, after tour , you proceed to Hazyview
