Payments & Deposits

• A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place
• Payment plans are available — payments must be made on time
• Late payments may incur fees and can result in loss of your spot

Cancellations & Refunds

• Deposits are non-refundable unless the trip is cancelled by OSL
• Cancellations made within 120 days of the trip start date are non-refundable
• Transfers to future trips are not guaranteed and are at OSL’s discretion

Travel & Insurance

• Flights and airport transfers (unless stated) are your responsibility
• Travel insurance is mandatory and must cover cancellations, medical care & disruptions
• OSL is not responsible for flight delays, missed connections or airline changes

Minimum Numbers & Changes

• All trips are subject to a minimum number of travellers
• If minimum numbers aren’t met, the trip may be cancelled or rescheduled, if this is the case you will be fully refunded
• We may make small itinerary or accommodation changes where needed, always aiming for equal or better value

We'll start the day with breakfast at the hotel and then an iconic visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, the Christ the Redeemer statue. Standing tall atop Corcovado Mountain, you'll take in breathtaking panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro, from the golden beaches to the lush rainforest. A truly awe-inspiring start to the day.

We'll head over to explore the world-famous Escadaria Selarón, a stunning mosaic staircase and a vibrant piece of urban art. Created by artist Jorge Selarón, this colourful landmark is an essential stop for photos and a true celebration of Brazilian culture.

In the evening, get ready to immerse yourself in Rio's heart and soul with a lively samba lesson in Copacabana ending with a free evening!

Take your adventure to new heights with a breathtaking open-door helicopter tour over Rio de Janeiro. Soar above the city’s most iconic landmarks, including Sugarloaf Mountain, Christ the Redeemer, and Copacabana Beach, while feeling the thrill of the open air. This unforgettable experience offers unparalleled panoramic views and a once-in-a-lifetime perspective of Rio’s stunning landscapes. (subject to change due to weather)

The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. Whether you fancy exploring more of the city, trying out a new restaurant, or simply relaxing and soaking up the local vibe, the evening is yours to make your own.

Kick off the final day of the year by soaking up the sun at the iconic Ipanema Beach. Relax on the golden sands, take a refreshing dip in the ocean, and enjoy the lively atmosphere of one of Rio’s most famous spots. It’s the perfect way to unwind before the evening celebrations.

As the sun sets, join the group for a festive New Year’s Eve dinner. Savour delicious Brazilian cuisine, toast to the year gone by, and share laughter and memories as we prepare to welcome the next chapter together.

After dinner, we’ll head to a buzzing bar at Copacabana to kick off the countdown in style. Celebrate with cocktails, live music, and the electric energy of the crowd before stepping onto the beach to watch the dazzling fireworks display light up the sky. As tradition calls, we’ll run into the sea to mark the start of the new year with joy and good fortune.

The day is yours to explore Rio de Janeiro at your own pace. Whether you want to relax on one of the city’s stunning beaches, stroll through vibrant neighbourhoods like Santa Teresa or Lapa, or visit local markets for unique souvenirs, the choice is yours. For the more adventurous, consider a hike to discover incredible views or dive into the local food scene. It’s your day to create your own Rio adventure!

You'll have a free morning to fit in your additional activities, lounge on the beach or check out the many cafes in Rio!

In the late afternoon, we'll head to the cable cars for an unforgettable sunset experience. Glide above the city, taking in panoramic views as the golden hour paints the skyline in hues of orange and pink. It's the ultimate way to end the day on a high, literally!

The evening is yours to explore and unwind. Whether you're craving a casual meal at a local spot or a fine dining experience, take the time to savour the city's diverse culinary scene at your own pace.

We'll start the day early exploring the bustling Gloria Market, a vibrant hub of local flavours, fresh produce, and street food delights. Taste your way through the market, sampling traditional dishes, tropical fruits, and unique bites that capture the essence of the city. It's the perfect way to immerse yourself in the local culture and cuisine. They also sell bikinis, clothing and souvenirs so it's the perfect last stop of the trip!

 In the afternoon, set sail on a vibrant boat party to celebrate your time in Rio. Enjoy stunning views of the coastline as you sip on refreshing caipirinhas, savour a Brazilian BBQ dinner, and dance to lively tunes. As the sun sets, the golden glow over the water creates the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable farewell to the city.
