About this trip

This trip will be a wonderful chance to explore Bulgaria, the 3rd rated in Europe for its quantity of important cultural historical monuments. 

It is a destination with numerous important historical sites, from the dawn of European civilization to modern times.  Starting the tour in Sofia, going to visit the Troyan Monastery; having the chance to see one of the best known Tracian landmarks - the Tracian Tomb  and right after this day, having the chance to visit Kazanlak known in the world  for the famous Rose Festival. Bulgarians are very proud of their heritage, stories and folklore still form an important part of their lives where legends and traditions are passed from generation to generation.

 We didn`t want you to miss Plovdiv, one of the most beautiful cultural cities world wide. For the end of the same day we are going to visit  Koprivshtizsa, one of the architectural heritage cities the best preserved of Bulgaria.

2nd Day: SOFIA – TROYAN – VELIKO TARNOVO (260 km)
3rd Day: VELIKO TARNOVO-KAZANLAK –BACHKOVO- PLOVDIV (260 km)
4th Day: PLOVDIV – KOPRIVSHTIZA – SOFIA (200 km)

1st Day
SOFIA

Arrival in Sofia. Welcome by our local guide at the airport who will be at your disposal during the stay in Bulgaria.

Visit of the city of Sofia (according to the time of the arrival of the travellers,).

Visit of the city of Sofia: the church of St. Sophia (XII century), the rotunda church  St. George, the Cathedral or memorial-temple Aleksandar Nevsky: the largest Orthodox temple in Bulgaria and one of the must-see monuments Bulgarian heritage. Officially inaugurated in 1912, to honour the 200,000 Russian fighters who died during the war of liberation. It is important to visit the National Assembly, also known as Narodno Sabranie Square. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. D
