Lizzy’s teaching is inspired primarily by the Krishnamacharya lineage, which emphasizes practicing from where you are. Krishnamacharya's themes of breath inspired movement and personalized practice have resonated throughout her yoga journey. She has also studied Tantra, Ayurveda and Buddhist meditation, she finds overlap and enormous value in all of these teachings. Yoga has been and continues to be a journey of peace, self-healing and fulfillment. She wants all bodies - stiff or bendy, strong or fragile, big or small - to know there is an appropriate yoga practice for them if they are willing to find it, and that movement is medicine! Aside from personal practice, her most influential teachers are Alice Joanou (Oakland, CA) and Marimar Moreno (B.C.S. Mexico). She's drawn enormous inspiration from her travels and life abroad as well as her family and husband Colin. Lizzy is recognized by the Yoga Alliance at 2 levels: E-RYT 200, RYT 500

Lizzy was a wonderful teacher and the experience was absolutely lovely! The cooking lesson from Hope was great too - I've used my skills at home twice to great success!
