Charquini Norte Located on the northern side of Mount Charquini (around 5,390 m / 17,684 ft), Charquini Norte is the most accessible and popular area of the mountain. It is famous for day treks, playing in the snow, and visiting the stunning turquoise Esmeralda Lagoon at its base, offering incredible panoramic views of the Cordillera Real and nearby Huayna Potosí.
