Taxi Express was not there for pickup. We waited 15 minutes and then ended up taking a taxi for only $25 to Puerto Ayora (instead of the $40 charged by Taxi Express). I emailed them and asked for a refund or credit and have not heard back after 2 days. Save your money and don't use Taxi express. Lots of other cabs at ferry dropoff point available.

We can reccomend Ferry Santa Cruz to Isabela. Our ferry was named "Legendary". Very comfortable seats - we sleep whole time. I have ordered tickets two months before our trip to be sure that we have place in a ferry and week before we have obtained tickets via WhatsApp. Again - I can reccomend.

When we were inside the ferryboat, I could see my backpack. It was closed very carefully and nothing was popping out. When we arrived at Isabela, my partner took and carried my backpack (because I'm pregnant). He told me my backpack was opened, when they left it at the harbour. He asked me if something was missing... My book, "Travel Guide - Lonely Planet Ecuador & The Galapagos Island", was on top inside my backpack. It was gone... We asked "Ferry Galapagos", we asked "Grupo Galapagos", we asked the soldiers, we asked the taxiboat guys,... But nobody saw my book? We were only at the beginning of our vacation and now I couldn't use my book. It was €17,99 on Bol.com. It would have been nice if "Ferry Galapagos" offered a compensation. But nobody did... Very sad about this!

It was very easy to buy the taxi ticket, the driver was on time waiting for us and we took us quickly to the port to leave for Isabela. Totally recommended.
