For our fourth weekend together, we’ll be staying in a stunning Edwardian home in the heart of Cowes—just steps away from the island’s vibrant waterfront. With spacious en-suite bedrooms, a cosy open-plan living area, and a beautiful garden, this is the perfect base for a weekend of fun, connection, and exploration.
📍 Friday – Arrive and enjoy a leisurely evening stroll through Cowes as we get familiar with our home for the weekend.
🚴🏾♀️ Saturday – Time to hit the road! We’ll embark on a long, scenic bike ride to soak in the island’s natural beauty, followed by an evening of delicious food, laughter, and bonding back at our house.
⛵ Sunday – Set sail along the Cowes and Portsmouth coast for a relaxing cruise. If time allows, we’ll squeeze in another ride to explore more of the island before wrapping up the night with a group dinner at a local restaurant.
💛 Monday – We say our goodbyes (until next time!), check out, and head home. But if you're up for it, we might just sneak in one last morning ride!

Our home for the weekend is a beautiful, detached Edwardian property located only a few minutes walk from the heart of Cowes. A stunning open plan and spacious living area, a separate dining room located beside the well-equipped kitchen, and seven bedrooms, each with their own en-suite.
Quick Summary
Cowes is located in the North of the Isle of Wight. The nearest ferry station to the house is the Red Jet Ferry Terminal in West Cowes which is only a 10 min walk away from the property. The full address will be revealed to those who book.
Travel by train
The easiest way to travel by train is to get a train to Southampton Central. From here you can get the Quay Connect to transit from the train station to the Ferry station. From Southampton ferry station you can get a Red Jet ferry to West Cowes to access the Island.
Travel by car
If travelling by car, the best entry point to Cowes is via the Red Jet ferry from Southampton. It will be a quick drive from Cowes to the property where we have parking for up to 6 cars. The full address for the property will be revealed to those who book.
CYCLING ABILITY:
Do I need to be an experienced cyclist?
No! This trip is open to all levels. However, you should feel comfortable riding for a few hours at a time. We’ll take breaks, and no one gets left behind!
What kind of cycling routes can I expect?
The Isle of Wight offers stunning coastal and countryside routes, with a mix of flat stretches and gentle hills. Expect scenic rides, great company, and plenty of photo-worthy stops.
What happens if I get tired during a ride?
No worries! We’ll have regular breaks, and there will always be a plan to support anyone who needs to take it easy.
Do I need to bring my own bike?
Yes, please bring your own bike. If you don’t want to bring your personal bike, there are bike rental options on the island. Please consider how and when you will pick it up.
What should I pack?
ACCOMMODATION & FOOD:
Where will we be staying? We’ll be in a beautiful, spacious Edwardian home in Cowes, with seven en-suite bedrooms, a cosy living area, and a lovely garden.
Do I get my own room?
You can choose to have your own private or share with one other person.
Is there secure bike storage?
Yes! We will secure our bikes safely in our accommodation.
Are meals included?
Breakfast and the two evening meals in the house are included. Meals away from the house, such as lunches and the evening meal out at a local restaurant are not included.
Dietary restrictions?
During the booking process you can let us know your dietary requirements. We will make sure we have you covered.
Can I bring my own snacks?
Absolutely! Feel free to bring any snacks or drinks you love.
TRAVEL & DEPARTURE
How do I get to the Isle of Wight?
You’ll need to take a ferry from Portsmouth or Southampton. We recommend booking in advance for the best prices. The most convenient ferry port to our property is the Southampton one.
Can I bring my car?
Yes, there’s parking for 4–6 vehicles at the accommodation. Carpooling is encouraged! We have set up a WhatsApp group which you can join after booking to organise this.
What time should I arrive and leave?
Can I arrive late on Friday?
Yes, if you need to arrive later, just let us know your ETA so we can welcome you in!
What if I need to leave early?
That’s fine, just let us, especially if you need to leave mid-ride or activity.
How do I secure my spot?
Spaces are limited! Book your place ASAP to avoid missing out. You can do this by paying a non-refundable deposit.
Payment options?
You can either pay in full or pay in instalments. Please note that paying in instalments will incur high booking fees.
Payment plans?
Participants have the option to pay in up to 3 instalments.
What if I book but can’t make it?
We understand that plans can change, and we strive to be as fair and flexible as possible while ensuring the smooth running of our weekender. Depending on when the booking is cancelled, we may offer refunds.

Food purchased while on trips away from the house are not included. This applies to dinner out on Sunday too.
We highly recommend taking out travel insurance that will cover you in case of curtailment or cancellation of your trip. We also recommend our riders take out cycling public liability insurance.
Arriving on the beautiful Cowes on the Isle of Wight, you will find our stunning home for the next couple of days. The festivities will begin with a welcome drink, time to unpack and a short local 'sunset' stroll around Cowes before a lovely dinner at home to get to know each other better.
We will go for a long bike ride to explore the Island's stunning natural beauty. After return we will have some time together eating, chatting and dancing the night away.
On our final day, Sunday, we will enjoy a cruise along the Cowes and Portsmouth coast. If we have time we will enjoy another short bike ride to explore another side of the Isle of Wight. Tonight we will go for dinner at a local restaurant.
On our final day, we will check out, say our goodbyes, and head home. If you're up for it, maybe we can even sneak in an optional final bike ride.
