Arrival Day Cairo

Welcome to Cairo, the gateway to one of the world’s greatest civilisations.


Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met inside the terminal by your dedicated Pink Lotus Tours representative, who will assist you with the purchase of your Egyptian entry visa and escort you smoothly through immigration and arrival formalities.


Relax as you are transferred by private, air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel. The drive itself is a captivating introduction to Cairo—vibrant, energetic, and unforgettable—so keep your camera close.


On arrival, our representative will assist with hotel check-in and leave you to settle into your elegant

Saqqara Step Pyramid and BBQ Lunch

After breakfast, meet your private Egyptologist and begin your journey at the very dawn of civilisation.


Travel to Saqqara, home to the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, the world’s first monumental stone structure, dating back to approximately 2700 BC.
Designed by the architect Imhotep, this extraordinary site marks the architectural and spiritual beginnings of pyramid construction.
Saqqara is a vast necropolis, and with ongoing archaeological discoveries, each visit reveals new wonders—tombs, reliefs, and corridors rich in symbolism and history.


Enjoy a relaxed traditional Egyptian BBQ lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.

Giza Pyramids and Sphinx

Today is a moment many dream of their entire lives.


Explore the legendary Giza Plateau, standing in the presence of the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the last remaining wonder of the ancient world. Walk where the ancient Egyptians once stood, absorbing the scale, precision, and mystery of these monumental structures.


For those who wish, enjoy an optional camel ride across the Sahara sands, offering a timeless perspective of the pyramids rising from the desert.
Your visit concludes with the awe-inspiring Great Sphinx, the eternal guardian of Giza, carved from a single piece of limestone.


Lunch is served at a restaurant boasting spectacular pyramid views, before continuing to a government-regulated Papyrus Institute, where you will learn how the ancient Egyptians recorded history on the world’s first paper.

Civilisation Museum Flight to Aswan

After breakfast, visit the NMEC National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation, showcasing various parts of Egyptian ancient and modern history alongside the collection of Royal Mummies.


Later, transfer to the airport for your included domestic flight to Aswan, travelling south to Nubia, where the Nile flows serenely through palm-lined shores.

Abu Simbel Temples

An early start brings one of Egypt’s greatest highlights.


Travel to the awe-inspiring temples of Abu Simbel, carved directly into the mountainside by Ramses II between 1274–1244 BC.
Twice each year, the rising sun illuminates the sanctuary, perfectly aligned to honour the gods—excluding Ptah, the god of darkness.


Visit both the Great Temple of Ramses II and the Temple of Hathor, dedicated to Queen Nefertari, Ramses’ beloved wife.

Philae Temple - Embark Nile Cruise

This morning, enjoy a gentle motorboat ride across the Nile to Agilkia Island, home to the enchanting Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis—symbol of love, magic, and rebirth.
Philae’s romantic setting and intricate reliefs make it one of Egypt’s most beautiful temple complexes.


Embark your luxurious Nile River Cruise, your floating sanctuary for the coming days
Before dinner, stroll through the vibrant Aswan Market, alive with colour, spices, and local life.

Day 7

Nile Cruise/KomOmbo Temple

After breakfast onboard, visit Kom Ombo Temple, a unique dual sanctuary dedicated to Horus the Elder and Sobek, the crocodile god.


Return to the cruise and enjoy scenic sailing along the Nile toward Edfu.
Later, visit the magnificent Temple of Horus at Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, offering remarkable insight into ancient ritual and architecture.
Relax with Afternoon Tea on the Sun Deck, then join the fun at tonight’s Galabeya Party, where guests dress in traditional Egyptian attire.

Visit the colossal Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious site ever constructed.
Explore the awe-inspiring Hypostyle Hall, with 134 towering columns, among the greatest architectural achievements of the ancient world.
Later, visit a local jewelry workshop where guests may commission a personalised cartouche, crafted as a lasting memento.

Valley of the Kings Temple of Hatshepsut

For early risers, an optional Hot Air Balloon flight offers a breathtaking sunrise over the Nile and the Valley of the Kings.
Disembark in Luxor 
Today, explore the Valley of the Kings, descending into the richly decorated tombs of Egypt’s most powerful pharaohs.
Continue to the dramatic Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahri, one of Egypt’s most striking architectural masterpieces. Hatshepsut remains one of history’s most formidable women, ruling Egypt as pharaoh in her own right.
Visit a local alabaster workshop to observe traditional carving techniques passed down through generations.
Enjoy lunch on the West Bank of Luxor then check in to Nile River hotel

Leisure Day in Luxor I Luxor Temple by Night

Free day to explore locally.


The area is very central and full of local shops to wander at your own pace. Your hotel is directly on the edge of the Nile River and has Day Spa facilities, pool and several restaurants.


If you wish to see more sites or Luxor Museum, then please discuss with your guide.
In that late afternoon, visit Luxor Temple at sunset and stay until the temple is bathed in golden lights.


Enjoy dinner overlooking the Avenue of the Sphinx.

Dendera Temple of Hathor

Located north of Luxor, the Temple of Dendera is one of Egypt’s most beautifully preserved and visually captivating temple complexes. Dedicated to Hathor, goddess of love, joy, beauty, music, and healing, the temple radiates a serene and uplifting atmosphere.

Recent restorations have revealed remarkably vivid colours on the ceilings and walls, offering a rare glimpse of ancient Egyptian artistry as it once appeared. The grand Hypostyle Hall features celestial scenes and sacred symbolism, including the famous Dendera Zodiac, reflecting the ancient Egyptians’ deep understanding of astronomy and the cosmos.

Explore richly carved chambers, sanctuaries, and crypts filled with imagery celebrating divine femininity and harmony. The rooftop, once used for rituals and astronomical observations, offers sweeping views over the Nile Valley.

Less crowded and deeply atmospheric, Dendera is often regarded as one of Egypt’s most spiritually resonant temples — a place of beauty, balance, and timeless energy.

Return flight to Cairo I City Tour

Breakfast at hotel then checkout
Morning flight from Luxor to Cairo
Explore Old Coptic Cairo, including the Hanging Church, Church of Abu Serga, and Ben Ezra Synagogue.
Continue to the Citadel of Salah El Din to visit the elegant Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, then journey into Islamic Cairo to wander the atmospheric lanes of Khan El Khalili Bazaar.
Check back in to your hotel or optional change to downtown hotel.

Grand Egyptian Museum

Saving the best for last!


After breakfast, enjoy a full day at the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Your guide will as many or as few as of the masterpieces that you prefer and then allow plenty of free time to explore at your own leisure including the full collection of the Tomb of King Tutankhamun.


Lunch will be at your own leisure inside the museum complex.
There are many restaurants and coffee shops to relax and enjoy the facilities.
