Boulders and buttresses, rugged mountains, gold mining ruins, desert plains dotted with oddball trees- Joshua Tree National Park is a weirdly wonderful place. Nicknamed “J-Tree” by locals, the park lies at an ecological crossroads, where the high Mojave Desert meets the low Colorado Desert. That marriage results in amazing desert flora, including those wacky namesake trees (actually a type of yucca), and leafy groves of palm trees. Joshua Tree’s beauty shines around the clock, with vibrant sunsets melting into nights filled with uncountable stars perfect for stargazing adventures.

Spend the afternoon unleashing your inner child as we climb and crawl through the towering wind and water eroded rock formations. This landscape never fails to stir creativity within those who visit. Locals and artists alike have long flocked to this magical land to immerse themselves in its mysterious energy, with artists like U2, the Rolling Stones and John Lennon among them.

Today we set out on a grand adventure to learn the sport of rock climbing! Joshua Tree National Park is a rugged and beautiful desert landscape, encompassing a variety of rock climbing terrain. 

Our local guides will literally show you the ropes! Spend the afternoon learning rock climbing techniques and the deep-rooted history of the sport.  Sitting on top of one of Joshua Tree’s epic rock climbs you may experience the best sunset of your life!  

After a full day of exploring, relax at our campsite while sharing stories from the day with travelers from around the world. Quickly the light will fade away and you will be left with a nationally recognized dark sky dotted with stars as far as the eye can see!
