Join Camp Yogi for a weekend of deep yoga designed to wake your body and calm your soul. Our teachers will guide you through breath centered yoga that is alignment based and philosophy rich. With three teachers present you are sure to get personal attention and ideas for any modifications you need for your practice. All levels of yoga experience are welcome to join us!
Specifics for the weekend:
After checking in to Camp Yogi around 4pm on Friday we will delve into a calming welcome practice to begin retreating. This will be followed by our first delicious healthy meal, with colorful, fresh veggies and dessert (All dietary restrictions will be honored), and crafts such as Malas,
Saturday will begin with meditation and pranayama (breath work) followed by an active yoga practice and then a continental breakfast. After lunch there will be ample time to hang out in the gorgeous lake, take a hike, canoe on the lake, play horseshoe, croquet, read or nap! For those of you who wish to do some workshops to advance your practice, there will be a couple options in the afternoon. Late afternoon we will come together for a soothing restorative class followed by dinner and a campfire.
On Sunday after practice, the retreat will culminate a hike to a scenic overlook of Lake Travis and a 10:30 am brunch. Equine yoga will be available for those interested.
Everything is optional, and you will be encouraged to do what you need to restore and refresh yourself.
Room choices & prices:
Camp Yogi has guest units and cottages situated in various buildings on the property. All beds at Camp Yogi have 100% organic shampoo, conditioner, and soaps. Each unit has its own temperature control system for your comfort.
Double: $650 (If you are coming alone and want a double room, we will pair you with a like minded roommate)
Meals & snacks:
Coffee and tea will be available every morning starting at 7:30am. Camp Yogi serves fresh and local food, Here are some sample menus:
Fresh squeezed orange juice
Fresh seasonal fruit
Homemade granola with milk, soy milk, or almond milk
Quiche (with and without cheese)
Panini toasted turkey, basil, and cheese sandwhiches
Panini toasted veggie sandwiches
Fresh spring mix salad with bell peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, and radishes with an oil and vinegar dressing
Grilled chicken and tofu fajitas with onions, and green and red bell peppers
Spanish rice and black beans
Fresh, homemade guacamole and salse
Cheese, sour cream, and cilantro lime sauce
Camp Yogi is located at 104 Balcones Springs Dr Marble Falls, TX 78654. Your GPS should work but in case you need directions, click here. Once you park in the designated guest parking, make your way to the "check in" and there you will receive information on your accommodations.
Please consider putting an outgoing messages on your email and phone so that you can unplug. For emergencies, you can have your people call Nathan at 512-586-5036. If this is not possible, we understand…but we can assure you your retreat will be a deeper experience if you are able to let go of your exterior responsibilities for the 44 hours we are together!
Mats will be supplied, as well as other props, but if you tend to get cold, perhaps throw in a blanket to snuggle with in savasana. Also, there are towels for the lake as well as in the room as well as Dessert Flower shampoo and conditioner so no need to pack those.
A suggested packing list includes:
-Slip on shoes to get from room to studio to lake to nap
-Walking shoes if you are inclined to hike- there is a beautiful hike to Lake Travis from the property
-Sunscreen and a hat- it is going to be beautiful and sunny if all goes as we envision
-Medications and toiletries
-Comfy clothes for meals…you are welcome to wear your yoga clothes or fancy yourself up
