What to Expect
🌅 Early Start
The adventure begins at 6:30 AM at our office near Marino Ballena National Park. After a safety briefing and snorkeling gear fitting, the journey starts with a scenic 1.5-hour boat ride to Caño Island.
🐠 Snorkeling in Paradise
Upon arrival, dive into crystal-clear waters to explore some of Costa Rica’s most vibrant
coral reefs. Enjoy two guided snorkeling sessions, each lasting 40–50 minutes, in different spots selected for optimal marine life visibility.
🏝️ Relax and Refuel
Between sessions, unwind with a snack and relax on the island’s sandy beach
(conditions permitting).
Afterward, savor a delicious picnic-style lunch on a secluded beach nearby.
🐋 Wildlife at Sea
Keep your eyes peeled during the boat ride for playful dolphins, majestic whales (seasonal from
July–November and January–April), and other marine wildlife
Marine Wonderland: Snorkel among vibrant coral reefs, home to tropical fish, rays, sea turtles, and more.
Wildlife Encounters: Spot dolphins, whales (seasonal), and other fascinating marine
creatures during the boat ride.
Expert Guidance: Bilingual naturalist guides ensure a safe, educational, and enriching
experience.
Scenic Adventure: Enjoy breathtaking coastal views and the thrill of open-ocean
