About this trip
Join Haitian Nomad on a historic trip to the city of Cap Haitien, Haiti--the roots of Freedom! You'll stand at the very first place where slavery was first abolished in the world, you'll visit the monument at the exact location where the last pockets of French Troops were defeated and Freedom became reality for the black race.
The highlight of your trip will be a visit to the Citadelle Laferriere--The largest fortress of the Americas built by 20,000 former slaves vowing to live free or die followed by a visit the ruins of the Sans-Souci Palace built by a black king : Henri Christophe showing off that us too can have lavish palaces.
You'll Stay at a luxury 4 star hotel overlooking the entire city of Cap haitien, dance your life away to local tunes while discovering authentic Haitian Cuisine, Enjoy a truly amazing paradise bay, massages and a visit to a private island !

Loved, Loved, Loved this Vietnam trip!! Everything was great; wonderful hotels, food, the host! Richard couldn’t have planned a more perfect trip. Some of my faves were the Halong Bay cruise and the street food tour in Ho Chi Minh. This was my first Haitian Nomad trip but it won’t be my last.

Let me start off with saying I had a ball on the trip. Toi was the best ambassador she had everything planned out for us. It was a trip that was well needed and I was glad that I took the chance to go half way around the world and I had a blast. Toi gets 200 stars she was the best. I would go on another trip as long as Toi is the ambassador. Toi thank you so much for showing up and showing out the best. I had a blast.

This was my first trip with Haitian Nomad and I must say " It was AMAZING!!!" I have enjoyed every excursions! My focus was the experiences. The History sites were impressive, the Temples, The surprised dinner, the hot air balloon, the Nubians village I can go on and on... Haitian Nomad team is very well organized, you can tell they did everything possible to make sure we had a wonderful time!
