Get to know the southernmost point of the American continent! An unique experience navigating the impressive and agitated waters of the Strait of Magellan.
We will start our activity at 07:00 a.m. from Punta Arenas, where we will pick up the passengers at their hotels. We will begin to travel south for 75 km to Punta del Árbol.
Upon arrival at Punta del Árbol, we will get equipped, we will receive a welcome talk and equipment and we will board the Zodiac boat to embark on a navigation. We will visit cape San Isidro, Del Águila Bay, Del Indio Bay and San Nicolás. We will be accompanied by some dolphins and sea lions, who are inhabitants of the place.
We will enjoy a natural landscape with forests and mountains that accompany us all the time, on the other side of the Strait of Magellan we will be able to enjoy hanging glaciers on the mountains of Tierra del Fuego.
After an hour of navigation, we will arrive at Cape Froward where we will hike up to the Cruz de los Mares, at about 340 meters high, it takes us approximately 3 hours between going up and down.
On the way to the top, we will be able to admire the local flora and fauna and, if we are lucky, we may even spot some wild animals. In addition, we will be able to learn about the history and culture of this unique region, which has been inhabited by indigenous peoples for thousands of years.
At the end we will make a return navigation to take the vehicle that will return us to Punta Arenas, where we will be arriving at approximately 4:00 p.m.
