Beyond the open market stalls off the main streets and squares of Cape Town and past the curio shops along the Waterfront are a wealth of traders and creators that service a much different clientele.
Award winning Radio and Media Personality and jazz expert Shado Twala, will serve as your Host during the International Day of Jazz activities. The International Jazz Day celebration has an extensive program of education and community outreach activities planned that will engages artists, educators and audiences worldwide. It is led by UNESCO and the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz, together with its Chairman, legendary jazz pianist and composer Herbie Hancock, who serves as a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Intercultural Dialogue.
