Cape Town - Franschhoek

Welcome to Cape Town! You will be collected at the airport and transferred to a boutique hotel in the heart of the Mother City. Depending on the time of your arrival, get checked in and then head down to the V&A Waterfront or one of the nearby beaches for sundowners. Your guide will give you a full overview of the plans for the next few days. 

Today you will dive straight into a walking food tour of the colourful Bo-Kaap. This is a great introduction to the vibrant culture and history of the city. Later this afternoon head up Table Mountain. The city is best viewed from this vantage point in the late afternoon! Have a sundowner before heading back down to the Waterfront or famous Kloof Street for an authentic dinner. The next day drive through Camps Bay along the Atlantic Seaboard all along the Peninsula. Stop in Hout Bay and take some memorable pics along Chapmans Peak. Enjoy a delicious lunch with a view at the Chef’s Warehouse at Tintswalo Atlantic. From there drive through Noordhoek (maybe visit the iconic beach on horse-back) and head to Simonstown and visit the African penguins at Boulders Beach. End off the day on a high with dinner overlooking the city. 

Check out after breakfast and take a scenic drive through the winelands to Franschhoek. This charming town is nestled in a beautiful valley, surrounded by magnificent mountains and boasts a multitude of excellent wine farms. The best way to discover this valley is to board the Wine Tram. Spend a day hopping between farms – between vineyard tours, cellar tours, picnic lunches and tastings you will have a full and memorable day! Spend 2 nights in a boutique hotel amongst the vines.
