Embark on a magical journey through two of India's most beautiful National Parks to find the majestic tiger, sloth bear, leopard, elephant, wild dog, Indian Guar and a wide array of birds.
Central India is a breathtaking haven for wildlife and bird photography, particularly within the enchanting landscapes of Kanha and Bandhavgarh National Parks. These two iconic parks offer unique opportunities to immerse oneself in nature's beauty and capture the essence of its inhabitants.
At Kanha National Park, the dense Sal and bamboo forests create an awe-inspiring backdrop. Here, photographers can witness the graceful movements of the majestic Bengal tiger, one of the park's most celebrated residents. As the golden light of dawn breaks through the trees, capturing a tiger in its natural habitat becomes a thrilling challenge. The park is also home to more than 300 bird species, including the charming crested serpent eagle and the vibrant Indian roller. The lush landscape comes alive with the sounds of chirping and rustling leaves, providing the perfect ambiance for capturing candid moments with wildlife.
Just a few hours away, Bandhavgarh National Park entices with its rugged terrain and historical significance. Famous for its high density of tigers, Bandhavgarh offers photographers the chance to spot these regal cats in varied settings, from open grasslands to the shadows of ancient ruins. The park's diverse ecosystem includes lush forests, rocky hills, and serene waterholes that attract an array of wildlife, including leopards, spotted deer, and Indian elephants. Bird enthusiasts will be captivated by the wide variety of species that grace the skies and foliage here, such as the stately black-shouldered kite and the dazzling blue jay, which flit about in the sunlight.
As we navigate through the trails of these parks, the interplay of light and shadow creates a magical atmosphere, offering photographers a canvas painted with vivid colors and dynamic scenes. Each outing becomes an unforgettable adventure, whether you're capturing the chilling gaze of a tiger or the vibrant plumage of a bird taking flight. The raw beauty of Kanha and Bandhavgarh not only enchants the eye but also fuels a passion for conservation, making these national parks a must-visit for any wildlife photographer seeking to document the wonders of nature.
This trip is geared towards photographers and wildlife lovers alike
❖ Only 2 clients per safari jeep meaning you have lots of room to spread out and plenty of space for photography gear
❖ We will have a special full day pass on one of our safari days which means we can get into the park 15 minutes early and leave 15 minutes later than the general public. We can also enter into any gate we choose and we can stay out all day, giving us opportunities to have more intimate and quiet encounters
❖ Most trips to India stay within only one park. We will go to two of India's most iconic parks to give you a more varied and diverse experience
❖ Our accommodations are in prime locations close to the park so we don't need to drive very long to get to our gate in the morning. In fact, in Bandhavgarh, our lodge is less than 2 miles from the most popular gate!
❖ Unlike many tours that charge you extra for sodas, wine and beer, it's all included on this trip
❖ We will have the most seasoned and experienced guides in the field
❖ No need to worry about getting yourself to the hotel after a long flight. Our friendly private drivers will be waiting to whisk you away
❖ Our accommodations are top notch with the friendliest staff and locally sourced and authentic cuisine. And just wait until you get to our Tree House Hideaway. Since it's right on the border with the park, you could literally have animals walk right under your tree house room
