• Arrive and check in to accommodations in the Centro Histórico.

• Evening welcome dinner with mezcal tasting.

• Night stroll through the Zócalo to soak in the festive vibe.

• Morning departure into the Tlacolula Valley.

• Stop for a swim in a local watering hole, a hidden natural spot to refresh.

• Afternoon: visit a family palenque to learn mezcal production from agave roast to distillation.

• Guided mezcal tasting with the makers.

• Evening: traditional Oaxacan BBQ with locals before heading back to Casa Ofrenda.

• Morning free at Casa Ofrenda.

• Afternoon: the big pre-Carnaval parade — brass bands, dancers, masks, fireworks, and comparsas winding through Centro.

• Evening: continue celebrating in the Zócalo with music and street food.

• Morning:
• Visit the famous Tlacolula Market in Tlacolula de Matamoros to shop for local crafts and try Oaxacan street food.
• Afternoon: Return to Oaxaca for free time.
• Evening: Relaxed evening in the town.

• Morning:
  • Excursion to Hierve el Agua to explore its petrified waterfalls and mineral pools.
• Afternoon:
  • Visit the nearby village of Teotitlán del Valle to see traditional textile weaving.
• Evening: Free time in Oaxaca.

• Morning:
• Head to San Martín Tilcajete to witness its vibrant Carnaval festivities.
• Afternoon:
• Continue to Santa Catarina Minas for more Carnaval celebrations, including music and traditional cuisine.
• Evening: Return to Oaxaca for the night.
