A provincial capital in southern Catalonia, Tarragona encapsulates everything that people love about Spain’s Mediterranean coast. For ancient culture it’s one of the best destinations in the country, with a UNESCO-listed ensemble of Roman archaeological sites that date to when this was the most important city in Iberia.

Explore the Amphitheatre built in the late-100s and could hold 15,000 spectators.

Capital of Catalonia and Spain’s second city, Barcelona is utterly incomparable. It’s one of a few must-see cities with its own identity. This is partly down to a generation of early-20th-century artists and architects, like Antoni Gaudí, whose unforgettable buildings are like nothing you’ll see anywhere else. If you want culture you’ve got an inexhaustible choice of beautiful buildings and events. Add to this clean urban beaches, world-class nightlife and so much great shopping you won’t know where to begin.

Camp Nou is a 99,000-seater stadium that has been the home ground of FC Barcelona since 1957.

It’s one of Europe’s football cathedrals and even if you have no affinity for the team you have to visit Camp Nou to appreciate the dizzying scale of the arena.

And if you are a fan you’ll be in heaven, touring the stadium and browsing the memorabilia of one of the world’s most prestigious teams at the museum.

The International Carnival Cup, organized by Marin Sports Events, presents its seventh edition taking advantage of the stop of the Baseball leagues on carnival dates. The “VII International Carnival Cup Tournament” is based in the facilities of the CE Premia de Dalt. 

It all started in 2012, when the idea of holding a tournament on a date different from the rest was proposed. From the organization, we gave the green light to the carnival dates and began the first edition only with the presence of a large team, RCD Espanyol, who was the winner of that first edition. The rest of the teams were from the Maresme region.

The time passed and the following year it was decided to return to bet for a second edition, where it was obtained the presence of two more equipment to the height of RCD Espanyol. Those teams were FC Barcelona and Valencia CF.

Today we can say that in only three editions, the tournament has been consolidated nationwide with teams such as Real Madrid, Real Zaragoza, CD Castellón, Damm CF, among others.

The main objective is that the players themselves can value the values transmitted by a sport such as football and above all that all participants and companions can enjoy a great show.
