A very warm welcome to Catalonia.

After a short transfer with our favourite luxury car service, we welcome you to the heart of the Emporda D.O wine region situated north of Girona.

We begin this journey based in a typical Catalan Masia 4 star hotel with swimming pool and Spa. A perfect space to wind down and acclimatise among these stunning surroundings.

Dinner will be served in this hotel's excellent restaurant.

After a hearty breakfast, the first Catalan landscape of this multifaceted adventure is among the vines of the Emporda D.O wine region, along quiet roads and flat smooth gravel tracks. The support vehicle is on hand all the way as you traverse through these rich and fertile vineyards.

Today we will be visiting some of the most spectacular cobblestoned medieval villages out to the west of Girona. These villages are linked by the well maintained Girona cycling network "Via Verde'

A lunch stop is a must in the village of Monells (pictured) where some home-cooked Catalan cuisine in a local restaurant will be enjoyed.

Today is an off bike day, a chance to visit Dali's inspiration - the epic Cadaques and the Cap de Creus natural park. This stretch of coastline is one of Europe's most picturesque - with Cadaques being the jewel in the crown. After a visit to Cadaques and Port LLigat (Dalis house) we will drop you off at one of the secluded coves along the cap de creus for a day at the beach.

Today we are back on the bike and our destination is Girona old town. Girona is a beautiful gothic city with so much to see and do. Everything is within walking distance and wherever you go, you are blessed with views of the surrounding mountains.

Once we settle into our hotel right in the heart of the old town, we will head out for some of Girona's finest eateries.

Our final ride today, takes us to one of the most iconic villages of the Costa Brava - Palafrugell. These quintessential white fishermen's villages are dotted throughout this area, where the Mediterranean turquoise waters meet the golden sands and the centuries old fisherman's houses offer a spectacular backdrop.

After a final Catalan breakfast in our seaside hotel - we offer a luxury group transfer to Barcelona.
