Join Maranatha Christian School as we follow the Footsteps of the Apostles through Greece.  We delve into Acts of the Apostles and many of Paul's epistles tour of Greece. We'll explore Athens, Mars Hill, Corinth, Thessaloniki, Berea, Philippi, and several quintessential seaside towns along the way. This trip is a perfect mix of biblical history, archeology, iconic Greek sites, and charming Greek isle & seaside hotspots.

In the event an individual cancels his or her participation on a trip that is occurring, all required payments made on or after published due dates are nonrefundable except as covered by the purchase of optional trip cancellation insurance, which one can obtain on their own or through Mayfair Travel either directly through the office or as the final step of the online portal registration process. If they do not enroll in insurance during the registration process, they can use the link provided on the trip confirmation that is automatically emailed to them upon registration.

Group trip places are transferable (name changes permitted) as per the terms of the airlines’ & tour operator’s policies. They generally can be completed for a $150 name change fee up to a certain number of days prior to the departure date.

Individual participation in group trips is also subject to the rules of the organization hosting the event (Maranatha Christian School).

In the event that the tour has to be rescheduled due to a Force Majeure occurrence such as war or pandemic, the first recourse is to reschedule the tour to a later date.  Mayfair Travel will work with all suppliers to try to negotiate all funds transferred to the new dates.  If this occurs, all options for travel credit and/or refunds will be presented to all travelers based on the policies in effect at the time.  

All particpants must acknowledge the following statement in order to complete registration: "I understand my deposit is nonrefundable regardless of world events except as covered by the optional purchase of cancellation insurance, which can be obtained outside of Mayfair Travel or through the last step of this registration process. Current travel requirements for Greece are valid passport, and either proof of vaccination or negative covid test results. This is subject to change as per the US & Greek governments."

Currently there is no provision for refunds from airlines or other travel suppliers due to change in government travel requirements relating to covid in the event proof of vaccination becomes a requirement in order to travel even if it wasn’t originally required when the clients enroll in the trip. Mayfair Travel is not responsible for government-imposed travel restrictions but will work on the clients’ behalf to try to obtain waivers and other benefits when needed, with no guarantee of attaining the client’s desired outcome.

Travel to Europe requires valid US passports (booklets, not cards) valid for 6 months after the return date. Mayfair Travel is not responsible for passport processing turn-around times or for any given country’s travel requirements.

In the event a traveler on a Mayfair Travel group trip test positive for covid in destination and is ordered to quarantine, our in-country destination management partners will assist the client in finding accommodations in accordance with the country’s regulations. It is at the host organization’s discretion as to how to appropriately supervise minors attending the trip without their legal parents or guardians. The organization is responsible for obtaining required permissions from legal parents and/or guardians for minors to travel on school or church trips.
