We had a great time and transportation was smooth and easy. The flights were good and having personal bus transportation definitely made getting around easy. There are a few pieces of feedback I'd like to offer. First the trip was sold as Barcelona but we were only in the city for less than a full day total in a week. I would have liked to stay in town or at least much closer so we could see sights on our own more, including at night. Also, a big part of traveling is experiencing the local food. We had little opportunity for meals on our own, which would also benefit our sons, and half of the meals were buffets. While buffets were better than the U.S. it wasn't experiencing the variety and quality of Spanish food as we had expected. The second hotel did have better food options though. I appreciated changing the schedule on the fly that allowed us all to attend a Barcelona game and have additional time in the city. All in all a fun experience and while the country towns were beautiful, I just wish we saw and experienced more of Barcelona itself.
From beginning to end, Travel and Play was helpful with the booking process, payment process, and most importantly, they were with us the whole way to make sure the accommodations were top notch! Even when plans changed with game results, they made changes to better our local experience and allow for us to make it to a Barcelona game and to revisit the city in extra time. Can’t wait to be on another trip with Travel and Play in the future!
Always a pleasure to use Travel and Play for all of our travel as an individual or as a team
