The city is also home to growing startup scene, colorful nightlife and entertainment, and breathtaking nature escapes.

The inaugural Congolese Diaspora Impact Summit (CDIS) took place in New York City on Saturday, September 21st. The Summit brought together millennial Congolese professionals and individuals who support Congo, from all over North America and the world.

One of CDIS’s goals is to connect the Diaspora, and interested parties, with Congolese entrepreneurs, change makers, educators and professionals on the ground. The goal of Return to Congo 2024 is to bring individuals from the Diaspora, and supporters of Congo, Kinshasa for an epic experience.
