      About this trip

Cedar Valley Drill is headed to Southern California March 15th-20th.  All students will be paying and signing up through the school.  This link is a way for parents and family who would like to join along and be included in the flight, hotel, and Disney Tickets can be included. Keep in mind,  Infinity Tours works primarily with the teachers/coaches, and all trip and itinerary decisions and/or changes will be determined by the teachers/coaches.  Anyone needing different flight times on the departure/return will need to book their own airfare since Southwest groups department does not allow for any variance outside of the group flight set times.

If you have various family members wanting to join, you will need to sign each of them up.

Please make sure that if you are planning to purchase insurance, that you use the insurance link below to purchase insurance no more than 15 days after the deposit deadline for it to be valid.

      Insurance Information

Since 2020 and the COVID-19 Pandemic we have felt it an important part of our job to inform our participants of possible insurance options. Insurance must be purchased no more than 15 days after the deposit due date to be valid. Please be aware that we do not require insurance, but provide this information so those traveling with our company feel confident in their travel plans whether they choose to purchase insurance or not. Should any of the tour participants show interest in purchasing insurance, USI Insurance, is the company we recommend. Here are some reasons why:

USI Insurance offers two different plans that are of interest to our client base; the "Basic Plan" and "CFAR."

The basic plan covers 100% of your investment if the trip is cancelled. A cancellation claim on the basic plan is contingent on specific "reasons." Here are some reasons covered in the basic plan:
      a. Your sickness, accidental injury or death as certified by a Physician. This does include a COVID diagnosis but you do need to get a note from your doctor.
      b. sickness, accidental injury or death of a non-traveling family member.
      c. You will be attending a family member's childbirth provided the pregnancy begins after Your effective date(Sept 14) and can be verified by medical records.
      d. after 5 years of continuous employment at the same company, you are terminated or laid-off.
      e. if you are called to active military duty.
      f. There are more allowed reasons. For more details, call (855) 874-0156. to contact the insurance company directly.

With the "Cancel for any reason" or CFAR insurance, you can cancel for any reason you wish up to 48 hours before the trip and claim up to 70% from the insurance company. This would also be appropriate for mental health concerns. The 70% does not include any refund our company can offer you. In the event that you do cancel within 48 hours of departure and have purchased the CFAR coverage, InfinityTours will refund the remainder 30% of your trip not covered by USI Insurance. InfinityTours will only cover the above listed 30% if insurance has been purchased during the 15 day eligibility period.

I was amazed at all the planning that happened to make this trip possible with so many youth and adults. There were many details worked out to get the instruments where they needed to be, to get meals to us, and to communicate where we are going and when. We were able to see so many great places in a few days. Thanks for all your efforts! It was a wonderful trip!

This whole trip was just amazing. Sara did such a great job putting everything together. One of the best parts was that if there was an issue with the trip, I did not have to worry about it. Sara took care of everything. Now we did not really have any big issues, but I think that is just because the planning was so well done. The students I took had a blast and were able to bring so many valuable memories and lessons back. As a teacher, it was so nice to go on a trip and have someone else in charge of all the details like room, food, activities, and transportation. This allowed me to just focus on my students and help them with their photography. Every part of our trip was handled professionally. I would have no problem sending my child on a trip with Infinity. They made sure everyone was safe and that the students were taken care of. I will never tour without Infinity again. I can just not say enough about how well the trip was put together and run.

The food at La Melo's was good and it was nice to sit down and enjoy a meal without rushing. I also liked that we had a group reservation at the Met which allowed us a secure space to leave our coats and umbrellas. The flight out of La Guardia was really smooth and nice. It was also good to have all the metro cards and physical Broadway tickets before we left Utah. That saved a lot of time getting on the subway the first time. The Broadway Up Close Workshops were incredible and the staff and presenters for that organization were so good at their jobs! The accommodation was not in a safe area at all. There were homeless individuals doing drug deals just outside our hotel. The hotel did not have security at the front like many hotels in NYC. There was an incident where a homeless individual came in to the lobby and was berating our students for not giving him money. The chaperones had to physical create a barrier until the hotel staff could get more help to have him removed. The hotel had a hard time accommodating the amount of visitors at one time. They only had two elevators for more than 30 floors of rooms which created some issues with baggage. More time at the 9/11 Museum is required. 2 1/2 hours is not enough time to see all that the museum has to offer especially for teenagers who were not alive when it occurred. I know that a lot of extra work went into planning this trip after Infinity Tours sent the itinerary because of the logistics of getting 60 people around New York. I am not quite sure if it was because of the size of our group or the fact that faculty has planned and executed 10+ trips to NYC without an outside company, but this trip did seem to be more stressful and more rushed than trips in the past. We did have sufficient free time, but when we had events, they were booked closely together and with limited time to travel to those destinations it felt overwhelming and rushed.
