      About this trip

      Whether you have the palate of a sommelier or a novice, a visit to Napa Valley is essential for any wine lover. You will spend the days tasting wine from the industry’s biggest names, dining at some of Napa's most stylish restaurants featuring some of the tastiest and creative menus while indulging in some world-class pampering. You will also enjoy the finer things in life against the stunning backdrop of miles and miles of rolling, vineyard-clad hills.


      The tour will feature unique, educational, and interactive wine and dining experiences.  In addition, this tour will take place during Women’s History Month, so we will also highlight and celebrate women doing great things in the wine industry in this region.

      A portion of the proceeds from the Celebration of Women In Wine Tour will go to The Roots Fund, a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization.  


      The Roots Fund was created to empower communities of color by providing resources and financial support through educational scholarships, wine education, mentorship, and job placement.  The Roots Fund is committed to investing in communities of color to provide opportunities to those seeking a career/education in all aspects of wine.

      Airfare (Not Included)

      The Celebration Of Women In Wine - Napa Valley Tour does not include national or international airfare. We strongly recommend waiting until you made a deposit payment before booking airfare or making any non-refundable travel arrangements. 


      ARRIVAL TO NAPA

      The transportation included in this tour is based on attendees arriving at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. If your arrival is before or after these times, please contact Andrae at (757) 805-5759 or info@thepacktravelclub.com.  Details regarding transportation from the airport to the Archer Hotel on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 will be communicated 14 days prior to your arrival. 


      DEPARTURE FROM NAPA

      The transportation included in this tour is based on attendees departing from The Archer Hotel between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 3, 2022. If your departure is before or after these times, please contact Andrae at (757) 805-5759 and info@thepacktravelclub.com. Details regarding transportation from the hotel to the airport on Sunday, April 3, 2022 will be communicated 14 days prior to your arrival.  


      If you're planning to take a red-eye home, SFO has a luggage storage facility (https://www.flysfo.com/content/storage-facilities).  You can take the opportunity to explore San Francisco and come back in time for your flight.


      If you extend your stay in the Napa/San Francisco Bay area after Sunday, April 3, 2022, you will be responsible for your transportation from the hotel to the airport. 

      How To Pay

      You have three ways to pay for your trip.


      1) Online: You can pay online by credit card, debit card, or bank account draft.  Online payments will incur a 4% service charge. This is to account for service fees.


      2) Mail: Don't trust the internet or want to avoid service fees, you can mail your payment to:

      Make money orders/cashiers’ checks payable to The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club. Personal checks are not accepted.  

      Please include a letter with your payment noting the following information: Name of the Attendee(s), Contact phone number, Contact email address.


      3) In Person: You can drop off a payment at our office in Norfolk, Virginia with the Receptionist from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our office is located at 500 East Main Street, Norfolk, Virginia (BB&T building in downtown Norfolk). We are located on the 16th floor inside of the Gather co-working space. Your payment (money order/cashier’s check) must be in a seal envelope with the following information written on the front of the envelope: The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club #1667. Inside the envelope, please include a letter with your payment noting the following information: Name of the Attendee(s), Contact phone number, Contact email address, Contact mailing address. We will mail you a receipt. We do not accept cash or personal checks for payments made in person. 


      We DO NOT accept payment by phone. 

      COVID-19 Policy

      Regardless of vaccination status, all participants must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test. The test must have been taken within 72 hours prior to arriving to Napa. The Celebration Of Wine in Wine organizers will provide details on how to provide eligibility 10 days prior to the event.  Please make sure your contact information is correct. 


      The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club staff and venues will adhere to all state and local guidelines regarding COVID-19 and will continue to update our policy as necessary. By purchasing a ticket to our trips, tour, and events, you understand and  acknowledge that a risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present.  In attending our trips, tours, and events, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, and waive, release, and discharge The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club and all of their affiliates, employees, contractors, staff, and associates from any and all liability for any illness or injury due to COVID-19 exposure.  

      Booking Changes and Cancellation Policy

      All payments are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another trip/tour. However, an existing reservation can be changed to another person. Please see the "Name Change Policy" section below.  


      If you opt into a payment plan, please pay accordingly to the schedule. If more than two consecutive payments are missed, your reservation(s) will be cancelled and any payment(s) made will be forfeited.   Always contact us if you are unable to meet payment deadlines.  


      Pricing is based on room occupancy (the number of people staying in a room together).  If your roommate cancel or removed from the trip due to missing more than two consecutive payments, a price adjustment will incur to cover the remaining hotel cost.  You are allowed to replace your roommate.  Please see the "Name Change Policy" below.


      No refunds are available once the trip/tour commences. In the event of a no-show by a paid attendee, no refund shall be given.


      We STRONGLY recommend you consider purchasing travel insurance.  We do not offer refunds. Purchasing travel insurance is a way to protect your travel investment dollars in the event the unexpected happens.


      If you need to cancel, you must notify us in writing by email (info@thepacktravelclub.com). Payments will not be refunded for cancellations. 


      However, if a trip is cancelled by the coordinators (The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club and Tish Around Town) due to lack of interest or unforeseen circumstances you will receive a full refund.  

      Name Change Policy

      A name change is the cancellation of one guest and the addition of a new guest on a booking. Applicable cancellation penalties will be assessed to the original guest (owner of the booking) plus a $50 administration fee to make a name change.  The new guest will be subject to pay any outstanding balance that was not paid for by the original guest. 


      The original guest must send written response via email to info@thepacktravelclub.com requesting a name change and provide the following information of the new guest

      1) Name

      2) Phone Number

      3) Email Address


      Only the original guest can request the name change.  The ownership of the reservation will be transferred once the original guest has provide the new guest information and have paid the $50 administration fee. 

      Travel Insurance

      Travel insurance is offered by a third party, Allianz Global Assistance, not The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club. Plans underwritten by BCS Insurance Company, Jefferson Insurance Company or Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company and Affiliated Companies, depending on insured's state of residence and plan type. Plan(s) may not be available to residents of all states.

      Travelers insurance is not required in order to join a trip/tour. 

      Medical Conditions and Special Request

      The Client must inform The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club and Tish Around Town on the registration page of any medical conditions, food allergy, disability, and/or physical condition. Failure to notify us may result in the Client being refused certain activities during the tour.


      It is absolutely vital that you are accurate with your fitness level and medical conditions for your safety.


      The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club and Tish Around Town will do their best to meet special requests including dietary or physical limitations but such requests may not always be possible depending on the tour, in which case The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club and Tish Around Town reserves the right to refuse Clients with certain conditions.


      As a client, you MUST carry medical insurance. Medical facilities vary from state to state and The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club and Tish Around Town will do their best to bring you to a proper medical facility if needed, but makes no representation and gives no warranties in relation to the standard of such treatment.

      Itinerary Changes

      The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club, Tish Around Town, and its partners reserve the right to alter the itineraries due to weather, road conditions, or other circumstances. The itinerary may be changed or canceled at any moment due to the trip to assure the safety of our clients and staff. No responsibility is accepted for losses, expenses due to delays, changes of flights or other services because of strikes, accidents, sickness, damage, negligence, weather, war, changes in schedules, or other similar causes. The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club, Tish Around Town, and its partners do not assume responsibility for accidents or deaths that can be traced to the participants’ negligence, acts of third parties, or exterior circumstances such as weather, natural occurrences, ware, or other similar causes.

      Terms and Conditions

      All persons wishing to make a booking have carefully read and understand the Terms and Conditions that follow. By making a booking, you accept on behalf of yourself and all those named on the booking, to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. A booking is accepted and becomes definite only when you have completed the deposit payment.


      Marable Enterprises (DBA The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club) and Tish Around Town hereby give notice that we do not own or operate motorcoaches, cruise lines, banquet or catering facilities, hotels, wineries, vineyards, restaurants, or attractions. All arrangements made for transportation, accommodations, cruises, sightseeing, attractions, meals, wine tastings etc., are made by us solely as AGENTS. We shall not be liable for any injury, death, accident, loss, damage, delay, or irregularity which may occur either by reason of defect in any vehicle or through the acts of default of any person or company engaged in transporting the passengers or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour.


      The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club and Tish Around Town will not be responsible for the theft, loss, or damage of baggage and personal property.


      The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club and Tish Around Town make no guarantees or warranties for any help, advice, and/or recommendations given before, during, or after the tour.


      By participating in the tour, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club, Tish Around Town, and its affiliates and representatives. 


      You release The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club, Tish Around Town, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video, and/or sound recordings.


      By participating in the tour, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club and Tish Around Town or the person or entity designated to do so by The Pack Roadtrip Travel Club and Tish Around Town.

      This package only applies to residents within a 100 miles radius of Napa Valley Area (i.e. San Francisco Bay Area, San Jose, Oakland, Sonoma, etc..)


      This options excludes the hotel stay at the Archer Hotel and transportation to and from the airport.  


      IMPORTANT: Due to parking limitations and request of the winery/vineyard, you will not be able to drive your personal vehicle to the wineries/vineyards we are visiting. You MUST meet the group at the Archer hotel every morning and ride the motorcoach to each winery.

      The single room occupancy rate is $4,000 per person. Rate applies to one individual occupying a room.  The room will contain one King Bed.

      (1) If you are a couple that wants a room with one bed, you must pay the Double Room Occupancy Rate (One King Bed).  The cost is $2,900 per person.  When you checkout, selection the option for one King Bed. 

      (2) Triple and Quad occupancy rates are not available.

      The double room occupancy rate for ONE KING BED is $2,900 per person (full price $5,800). Rate applies to two individuals occupying a room.   The room will contain one King Beds.  If you need a room with two king beds, please review the Double Room Occupancy (Two King Beds) option below.

      Five stars! The attention to details was wonderful. Because it was the second year for the event, there are, of course, kinks to work out. In the future, maybe have more than two lines for wine tasting. Five should do it, if the vendors can handle the volume. Looking forward to next year!

      I enjoyed the bus trip and the driver made the ride very smoothly to our destination and Fun. However, the reason for my rating is the trip overall experience at the Rose event. It was not worth the amount of money to go to this event. I did not throughly enjoy myself nor was I able to look at the venue and art or enjoy the other events at the Rose event that took place. Most of my time was spent in line waiting to sample the Rose wine. When our group tried to sample wines outside we was directed back to the line. It took at least 1 hr 1/2 to 2hrs to sample some of the rose wines. I do not believe that they was prepared for the amount of people that arrive to the event. I did enjoy the different roses that was there from various wineries to taste. I have been a few that was there at the event. Some of the people that were pouring the wine were not fully knowledgeable on the price or some the questions i had regarding the samples. The food was not worth the money either. I wanted a hotdog was coleslaw only I was told I had to purchase it with the chili and coleslaw or have it plain. The hotdogs were made to order, so I was very perplexed as to why I'm paying 15 dollars for something I want that I can't get it the way I want it. I would have rather took a bus trip to some of the various wineries in charlottesville than to waste most of my time in line for wine tasting. I did like the music 🎶 the dj was great and the venue overall was beautiful but unfortunately I spent most of my time in line.

      I had a great time. Experiencing a historical luncheon spot Michie Tavern and the beautiful, peaceful surrounding on grounds of the Daze of Rose' event. Good wine, good people, good food = great day!

      I had a wonderful day. It was a very nice trip. The food at Michie Tavern was good. The staff was very attentive and served us quickly. There was no wait if you wanted something. I was happy to be able to get vegetarian/pescatarian options as well . I am sorry the lines were so long at The Daze of Rose. I was not able to actually taste the wines this year. I only tasted a couple that were outside the venue at the tent area. I hope they organize it a bit better next year . I really like when we can go from booth to booth and can take our own time to taste the wines.
