We will start this day by taking a short trip to the seaside town of Civitavecchia, where we will be able to see the Roman port, along with the 16th century fort, and the Terme Taurine, a collection of Roman ruins. We will return to Rome after lunch and be able to see the Vatican, followed by more touring of Rome.

This day we will be taking an early trip to the ancient Civita di Bagnoregio, an incredible and dramatic village only accessible by pedestrian bridge. It includes a gate built by the Etruscans, and a 7th century church in its center. 

Tivoli is an old town that includes some very important ruins of Roman Emperor Hadrian's villa, along with other elegant villas and fountains to be found. 

Viterbo is a small city in central Italy, with a very nice old town and thermal springs. To be found here is the Palazzo dei Papi, a complex which used to be the seat of Popes in the 13th century. Many other renaissance era buildings are to be found here. 

Castel Gandolfo is an elevated town perched above Lake Albano just south of Rome. It is considered to have some of Italy's most scenic views.

On our last day, we will be taking a trip via the Rome metro to the seaside ruins of Ostia Antica, a large Roman archeological site that used to be the former harbor of ancient Rome. We will also finish any sightseeing of Rome that we did not yet get to do in the evening. 

We will be leaving our hotel for the airport  early enough to ensure everybody has enough time for their flight.
