We start the day with a mission driven trip to the market. “Your goal, should you accept it,” is to enjoy the vibrant marketplace while selecting the locally produced fabrics that will be used to create your custom made clothing.

Guided by a local expert, you will visit historical sites and see and learn about the historical beginnings of Ghana as an independent country. You will gain insights into Ghana’s visionary leaders and relate their goals with the current impacts of the country’s most influential leaders. 

Our professional tailors and seamstresses will meet us at our residence to take measurements and to develop the custom design of your garments.

We will kick the evening off the evening with a rooftop, poolside cocktail party hosted by one of the cities best mixologists. Sample and learn how to make local cocktails before we head out to experience the nightlife in Accra. 

We will spend the day in James Town taking in the sights, sounds and spectacles this is Chale Wote.  We will guide you through the effervescent crowds that cram the thoroughfares and ancient buildings of Jamestown – one of the most historically significant yet deprived areas of Accra – one fantastical encounter after another comes your way,

It’s an early trip to the city of Cape Coast in our air conditioned passenger van. Approximately two-hours later we will arrive for breakfast on the beach before going too Cape Coast Castle.  

Cape Coast Castle, about 100 miles from Accra, was the center of the British trans-Atlantic slave trade from 1664 to 1807. Millions of captive Africans, swept from their villages and herded like cattle for hundreds of miles, were brought to this coastal fortress to await their voyage to the Americas. The" door of no return’, is a portal through which the slaves were lowered into boats, and then loaded like cargo onto big slaving ships further out at sea, never to set foot in their homeland again. 

Following an emotional experience at Cape Coast castle you will have the chance to decompress at Kakum National Park before heading back to Accra.. 

Brunch is our favorite meal, and we promise its even better in Ghana. There is nothing like a Sunday on the beach. It is the definition of good vibes. After brunch the city is yours to explore. Today we will visit a local primary school that is achieving fantastic results under less than optimal conditions. Your connection with the school through your donation where we will donate all of the school supplies collected from our Extra Suitcase Project will make lasting difference in the lives of the students. 

“Make your list and check it twice!” Now that you have the extra room in your suitcase, its time head to the market. The marketplace will be your one stop shop for items handmade by local craftsman.  

Our seamstresses will deliver your custom made garments and make any alterations. 

Diner en Kente! We will celebrate the last day of the year with an amazing meal, a bonfire and more Accra nightlife.
