About this trip
In this journey we will travel to the community of Chichicastenango, to explore the colorful market in town. Thursday and Sunday are market days, since early morning vendors from far away communities, start to arrive to town. The main streets are full of food, textiles, souvenirs, wood mask and antiques. During our walking tour we will visit Saint Tomas Church, the brotherhood, and the cemetery of the community. After a traditional lunch, we will start to drive back to Guatemala City or La Antigua Guatemala.
