Guillermo, your host for these days and a dear friend of ours, has worked in tourism for more than 15 years. He started guiding horseback trips across the Andes and trekking adventures like the Aconcagua. After traveling the world, he found himself in Frutillar, where he's now exploring his passion for nature through his landscaping business, bringing back native species to their homeland.

At Refugio Puelche, hospitality isn't just a gesture; it's a way of life. Guillermo built his home to welcome friends, travelers, and family, offering a true Chilean experience.

Frutillar itself is a hidden gem nestled on the shores of Lake Llanquihue, surrounded by volcanoes, with the iconic Osorno presiding over the landscape. El Refugio Puelche:

Accommodating up to 10 people, the house offers two private bedrooms for five guests each, plus an independent apartment for two, all boasting breathtaking views of the lake and volcanoes. Each accommodation features a private bathroom and shower.

Nicolás will host you at his estancia, a Chilean ranch, where he will share with you the gaucho lifestyle. His estancia, named Edén (meaning paradise in Spanish), truly lives up to its name. Nicolás built it right next to his family's estancia to continue the family legacy. He studied architecture in Santiago and returned to Puerto Natales to build his forever home. The design of Edén showcases Nicolás's signature style: reused materials, clean lines reminiscent of Scandinavian architecture, and open spaces and windows that let nature become the main protagonist of the space. With Nicolás, you will discover the real Puerto Natales, galloping across vast flats, and enjoying incredible asados in Nicolás's beautiful quincho.

After experiencing estancia life, Jackie and Juan will take you to discover the gem of this region: Torres del Paine National Park. Jackie was born and raised in Puerto Natales, and she knows every nook and cranny of the region. While she knows the area like the back of her hand, Jackie's curiosity ensures there's always a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. Her passion is Torres del Paine National Park, a playground of adventure and wonder that she loves to share with all her guests.

Juan arrived in Puerto Natales more than 10 years ago and met Jackie, who introduced him to her world. Now, Juan has become a crucial part of Xenialand, a certified mountain and climbing guide, leading our guests on the biggest adventure Torres del Paine offers: hiking the O circuit, but through the Oggioni Pass. An epic 7-day hike where you will camp on the backside of the Towers, offering a unique view that only a few people and climbers who come to reach the top of the Towers experience.

Together, you'll encounter the wild beauty of Patagonia: from spotting majestic condors soaring overhead to glimpsing elusive pumas in their natural habitat. And as you trek through ancient forests and towering mountains, you'll uncover the rich history and culture of this remote land.
