Creatio guides all people to encounter the beauty of creation and the Creator. We lead transformative experiences to restore relationships with ourselves, with others, with nature, and fundamentally with God.
I have never had a bad time with Creatio. This trip was the perfect blend of community and exploration of the wonders of Rome. So grateful for the time we spent together!
It was an incredible trip. Creatio did a wonderful job with the logistics and overall pilgrimage experience. We had a few issues with some reservations at the Vatican Museum and Creatio diligently solved them for us. It was a very restful and prayerful pilgrimage. Would recommend 10/10
This trip was one of the most life changing experiences I have ever had, Ryan and Aimee were great guides. Ryan new exactly what words to say with his talks and led in a friend like manner. Aimee was the foot doctor of the trip, she handled everything that came her way as far as blisters and foot care including David's fairly bad looking toe with no issues! Would highly recommend Creatio for anyone looking for a deeper spiritual experience.
I'm not sure if it is theologically accurate to describe a pilgrimage as a retreat, but my recent trip to Spain walking the Camino de Santiago with Creatio was easily the most spiritually rewarding retreat I've ever been a part of. Much of that success is due to the Camino itself; it is hard not to find mental refreshment and emotional catharsis while hiking up mountain paths strewn with violet flowers, while walking among fincas filled with endless rows of grapevines, while pausing for a drink of water in a silent roadside church that has sheltered pilgrims for centuries, while watching the sun come up over misty fields and stretch out the shadows of your compañeros on the gravel road. No wonder we met many travelers who were drawn to the Camino not for any explicitly religious reason but just to step back from the daily grind or to make a new start after a significant life change.
As for me, I highly doubt whether I would have been able to finish the ~167 miles if I had done it alone, which is why attending a Creatio-led pilgrimage was equally essential for a successful experience. Not only did Creatio handle our transportation within Spain, our hostel reservations, and most of our meals (leaving us to focus on the experience itself), but it also provided two amazing guides to augment an already incredible journey. Our guides Ryan and Aimee were always on hand to treat aches and pains (including my never-ending blister saga) and to provide information about the places we would pass through each day: must-see churches, interesting alternative routes, etc. They were also founts of wisdom and inspiration, whether leading group reflections at the end of each day or sharing their personal stories with us on the trail. Through their example and the overall structure of the pilgrimage, our group cultivated a deep spirit of community and friendship that I believe will last for a long time after leaving Santiago.
If you are looking for a truly transformational experience leaving behind the noise of everyday life and growing in communion with others, a Creatio pilgrimage is exactly what you need.
The Camino is hard to put into words: physically demanding, but incredibly enriching. This was my first pilgrimage of this kind and I am profoundly grateful to have experienced it with Creatio, particularly with Mairead and Aimee as our group's missionary guides. They take both the "missionary" and "guide" aspects of their roles seriously, but they never forget that they, too, are fellow pilgrims. Their leadership, spiritual insights, generosity, attentive care, and patience left a deep impression on me. I learned a lot from them, and their unflagging support helped me get through some physical trials along the way. The other pilgrims in my group were also all wonderful, and I will cherish the moments of fellowship and connection I shared with them and with others from around the world. I would unreservedly recommend a Camino with Creatio to anyone, Catholic or otherwise, who is willing to be challenged and changed.
