- Explore Xochimilco on your own (if you choose to do this, we'll be happy to give you some suggestions on how to get there and what to do)

- Go to the ice rink at Monumento de la Revolución

- Visit the small town of Atlixco (2 hours away from Mexico City) where they'll host the traditional Villa Iluminada with christmas lights and decorations all over

- Have fun at Six Flags!

The meandering alleys and side streets of Coyoacán will transport you to Mexico’s colonial past and take you through the juxtaposition of its modern yet traditional society. Coyoacán used to be a weekend getaway for the colonial elite and remained separated from Mexico City for the earlier years. This historic, calm, and quaint town has an atmosphere of grandness due to its elaborate architecture. Coyoacán became a bohemian cultural center around 50 years ago and artists still remain an essential part of its identity to this day.

On this adventure, you'll explore the hidden streets and small alleys, eat like the locals at the food market, and visit grandiose houses that have now been turned into libraries and cultural centers. Visit Coyoacán’s main church and the parish of La Conchita, both some of the earliest Catholic temples in the continent. Away from the bustling streets of the big city, you’ll have a chance to take in the calm, quirky, and artistic atmosphere of this historic neighborhood, and learn why the likes of artists such as Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera called it home.

Have you ever wondered about the origins of the largest Spanish-speaking city in the world? On this day tour focused on Mexico City's historic center, you will be immersed in its rich history. Mexico City was founded in the 14th century by the Mexicas (or Aztecs) and is filled with Baroque churches, Prehispanic ruins, artifacts, and revolutionary murals. A tour around El Centro Histórico, as the locals call it, is a perfect way to start to discover Mexican history and identity. The Centro Histórico developed as both a residential neighborhood for the colonial elite and the seat of the religious and political power in New Spain and later in independent Mexico. Today, underneath the colonial houses there are ruins of Mexican pyramids.

This tour will take you to a traditional candy store that changes its displays according to the season. You can see the Templo Mayor ruins from above and go underground to visit the Calmecac ruins. You'll also have a chance to go inside the Ministry of Education and explore the murals that sparked the muralism movement, with heavy influence by Diego Rivera. You’ll ascend the Torre Latinoamericana to see the enormous sprawl of the metropolis all around you, while making pit stops and grabbing a couple of beers nearby. Come spend the day exploring Mexico’s history and identity.

Then, at night, get ready for a thrilling Lucha Libre experience. Lucha Libre is one of the most traditional shows in many cities throughout Mexico. Dare to live a unique and exciting night accompanied by pulque (an ancient alcoholic drink made from the maguey plant), live music and of course the color and euphoria of the Lucha Libre show. First, you’ll visit one of the most popular pulquerias in the city. After dancing salsa and cumbia or listening to mariachi among locals, you will live the experience of these warriors who wear colorful costumes and amazing masks while wrestling on stage in the middle of the stadium. This is an old tradition that is still preserved in Mexico City.
