About this trip

Join us to Experience the Best of Lagos Arts and Culture with ShortWayHome. ShortWayHome is a travel experience curator. We help people of the African diaspora make their first trip to the African continent, including children of African immigrants.  All are welcome, but the focus is on these kinds of travelers. We organize a culturally inclusive tour

As the official Travel Operator for Unicon, we are assisting with event passes, scheduling and transportation from Airport Pickup to Airport drop off and everything in between. As the official Travel Operator for Unicon, we are assisting with event passes, scheduling and transportation from Airport Pickup to Airport drop off and everything in between.

Also, this trip is scheduled around the internationally renowed Ake Arts & Book Festival in Lagos. This is an amazing opportunity to meet your favorite African artists and authors, talk to them, buy books etc. Our biggest advice is to travel light, you'll need the space for all the books you will be taking back with you.

If you would like our assistance with a much more focused itinerary, Please reach out directly to ayo@shortwayhome.co

We will have a standard itinerary that includes:

Culture

Sights

Art

Nightlife (Have you HEARD about Lagos Nightlife?!?!?)

Also, we will work to develop an individualized itinerary that allows each traveler to have the ShortWayHome experience that is different from anyone else in the group.
