Following an included breakfast, we head south

though Illinois & into Tennessee. By late afternoon,

we arrive in Nashville where we are greeted by our

local guide and check in to the Comfort Suites. We

enjoy some free time while our luggage is delivered

to our rooms, before departing for the Nashville

Nightllife Theatre. We experience an evening of

Country Music from both past & present, hearing

songs from many of the great artists in country

music history ... all while enjoying a home-cooked

buffet-style dinner!

Following an included breakfast, we meet our

local guide & spend the morning learning all the

interesting facts about Nashville’s history, industries

and famous people. Tour sites will include the

downtown area, the State Capitol, Centennial Park

and the Parthenon, Music Row’s Recording Studios,

the Governor’s Mansion, Vanderbilt University,

Belmont College & other points of interest. We enjoy

lunch on our own with some time to honky-tonk

downtown before our self-guided tour of the historic

Ryman Auditorium. This National Historic Landmark

& home to the Grand Old Opry is a must see for

anyone visiting Nashville! Next, we are off for

a short drive to Columbia for our Progressive

Antebellum Dinner. We begin with a tour of the

ancestral home of the 11th president of the U.S.,

James K. Polk. We will tour the home & gardens

and enjoy tasty appetizers in the courtyard. We

then depart for Elm Springs, where we enjoy a

buffet dinner in this beautiful southern mansion

build in 1838. Our last stop of the night is the

Athenaeum. We will tour the historic Athenaeum,

which is all that remains of the two famous girl

schools the flourished in the area from the 1830’s

until the Great Depression. After our tour we will

enjoy an assortment of southern desserts. After a

full day, we return to our hotel for a comfortable-

night’s stay.

Full breakfast is included this morning at our hotel before we depart for Studio B. Here we are a Star for a Day! We begin with a personally guided tour of historic RCA Studio B, Home of 1,000 Hits, where music legends recorded timeless songs. We, as a group, will have a chance to become a star as we have our very own recording session!  From Studio B, we head to the Country Music Hall of Fame,  where we tour over 350,000 square feet of the world’s largest collection of Country Music

Artifacts. Our afternoon is spent having an included lunch at Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen and free time exploring the beautiful indoor garden atriums, and

the many shops and Christmas lights in the Opryland Resort. Tonight is the night we’ve all been waiting for...the Amy Grant and Vince Gill Christmas Show

at the historic Ryman Auditorium!!! One of Music City’s most treasured traditions, the husband-and-wife duo have filled the show with Christmas favorites such as “Let It Snow,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “Tennessee Christmas,”

“O Holy Night” and “O Come All Ye Faithful.” After the show, we return to our hotel after a full day in Nashville and a wonderful night of music!

Following an included breakfast, we depart Nashville and make our way north through the edge of Indiana and Kentucky and though Illinois

into Iowa. Tonight, our stay is at the Isle of Capri Casino Hotel where you are free to game & dine as you wish. Good luck!

This morning breakfast is on your own prior to departure. Along with our newly-made friends, it’s homeward bound with comfort & lunch stops
