Karibu, Tanzania. Karibu, Christmas in the Wild. Welcome to Tanzania. This holiday safari experience is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Tanzania is home to over 120 tribes, 23 National Parks, and over 4 million wild animals that call Tanzania home. On our safari journey, we will visit the Maasai tribe village and 4 of Tanzania's beautiful National Parks. And this is the best time to see thousands of wildebeest grazing around Central Serengeti plain while heading to the southern part of Serengeti.
This holiday experience starts in Arusha, where you will spend Christmas Eve before you are off to your safari adventure. The next day you will spend Christmas in Tarangire National Park, famous for its vast number of elephants. 🐘🐘🐘
After Tarangire, stop by Lake Manyara and spend a few nights at Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Serengeti National Park. Finally, this safari journey will end in Arusha, where we will celebrate New Year's Eve.
Christmas in the Wild is calling your name 🐘🦒🦒🐘

Getting around: Tanzania has, in general, amiable and peaceful people. You might hear ‘karibu’ a lot, which means ‘welcome’ and is a sign of cultural hospitality. This invitation can be for entering a shop or house or sharing a meal. Feel free to accept or decline politely with ‘asante sana’ (thanks a lot). As in many impoverished countries, where income gaps are huge, sensible caution should always be exercised. Before leaving your hotel, get advice on places to visit and avoid isolated areas if you are alone, especially after dark.
Photography Please be sensitive when photographing people. It is courteous to ask permission before snapping away.
Health Requirements Preventative measures should be taken against malaria. It is advised that you consult a physician regarding malaria prophylactics and other vaccinations. Please note that a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for all travelers coming from a yellow-fever infected country in Africa or Americas, unless you stayed in airport transit. .
