I had a good time visiting New York to enjoy the Rockettes 100th Anniversary Show!  I was very impressed with our bus driver who was an excellent driver and navigator through NY city traffic.  I am also thankful for the convenience of the  pick up locations that are so close to my home.   I plan to continue to support Group Destinations in 2026 with spreading the good news of the fun times I've enjoyed

Food delicious. Wine horrible. Also, we were told by friends  how beautiful the Christmas decorations would be, but no decorations at all. That was disappointing for a Christmas trip. Planning, communication and logistics very good. Thank you Stephanie.

Day in your own in NYC

Hi Laura. Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy the bus ride. The bus we had is a new bus. Some times newer seats are not broken in and then again some seats are just made that way. You have to remember these are made to hold up unlike say a car seat.  They can be uncomfortable at times but I'll take the discomfort over driving there my self any day. Thanks for joining us

It was a fun trip, bus driver got us there and home in record time! My only complaint is the bus was not comfortable at all.Those hard seats were hard to take after an hour! The tour manager was great, kept in touch with us about everything. 

We had a wonderful day in NYC! Everything ran smoothly because of Group Destinations, and I would definitely travel with them again!

We had an awesome time! We are going to book another trip soon!

The bus was very comfortable.  Buffet lunch at Menden Hall Inn was served promptly and was delicious.  There was enough time at Longwood Gardens for us to visit both conservatories and the outdoor gardens.

What a great time.  This was my experience with group destinations.  everything went so smoothly and the Shady Maple is a great experience.  The sight & sound theater was better than I thought it would be.  It was amazing!If another trip is  going there, I'm in.

We did have a great time. The stops were all interesting and different. I thought the Amish Gorde farm was a pleasant surprise. My friends and I brought many unusual finds home from   this trip and talked about when we go again next year. This was a fun group to travel with. Thanks for hosting it.

The trip was perfect! Our driver Mike did a beautiful drive with us arriving ahead of schedule. Mike found a parking spot directly across from the theatre. We had plenty of time to enjoy a lunch and conversation before the 2 pm show. Stephanie our tour guide gave all the information we needed as well as snacks & water on the bus. Jonathan Groff & cast gave an outstanding performance in "Just in Time."  Can't wait until the next trip.

Yes I know. Just not enough people and I am sure it was a good one too!!.  People need to sign up right away,  all theaters require full payment 30 days so when people wait and sign up late i am not able to hold space.  Bummer for sure

Great experience at the Philly stadium. Enjoyable and relaxing despite their loss on the field.  Bus was on time and picked us up right in front of the stadium.  Driver and hostess were exceptional.

We had a great time. The bus seats were a bit small & uncomfortable with no leg room but the driver was wonderful .Shady Maple was awesome & Noah was amazing. Stephanie, our escort was wonderful as always. We look forward to more trips.

The bus was clean and comfortable.  They were on time for the pick-up.  The restaurant was an excellent choice.  The bus driver was extremely skilled.  The seats at the Miller theater were great.  It was a wonderful experience.   The only complaint that I have would be that before the trip, I found the WeTravel website difficult to navigate.  That might be because of my old computer, or my old brain !!   I would definitely travel with this company again.

I traveled to NYC to see the above musical with Group Destinations. Every detail was well organized and ran smoothly. Stephanie had everything scheduled and was available at all times to answer questions. The driver was pleasant and drove well. We even got a snack on the way home! It was a great trip & I certainly will use Group Destinations again.

Hi Christine: I am sorry you were not completely happy with the tour.  Yes Longwood Garden at Christmas is always very busy.   As I mentioned I normally do weekends which is even busier then on Monday and really I thought the follow of the gardens inside and out were perfect. At no time did I really see a back up except for one place.   I thought the lunch was good. I think it could have been warmer but i think when you have the steam tables open food seems to get colder quicker.  The confirmations were sent out 1 week prior but i think you said it was sent to you friend not you which I am not sure why.  As for the seating, yes it is normally assigned by when you signed up which you signed up 10/31/24.  You and the 5 ladies in the back of the bus were the last ones to sign up. I hope you will still consider traveling with us in the future.

Longwood Gardens at Christmas is beautiful, but very crowded.  Long lines everywhere and you shuffle, not really walk, through the exhibits.  The bus trip itself was good.  The bus was clean and updated.  I did not use the restroom so I cannot comment on it.  There was a cell phone charger port between the seats, which was a pleasant surprise.  The restaurant we had lunch in was very nice.  The food on the buffet was standard buffet fare, not great but acceptable.  My biggest  complaint with the lunch was that the food was only lukewarm. Communication from the tour company was not great.  They promised to provide a final agenda one week before the trip; it arrived one day before. Our seats were assigned in order of our selected departure point.  Therefore, the people who got on at the first stop were assigned seats up front.  I registered early but was seated in the back since I got on at the second stop.  Very poor policy.   I may or may not travel with this tour company again.

This was a great trip.  We thought it was only for the Rockette’s Christmas Show.  Instead everyone of us had time for an alternate event and a meal of our choice.  Bus was comfortable ride was fast.
